I've had 2 Vi Peels done in the past and they have basically cleared my skin. I had to switch dermatologist for my last one since I moved states. I got the peel this past Saturday and I've noticed this time that my face is reacting a little different. Not all of my face peeled and I'm also experiencing a lot of redness which hasn't happened in the past. I did everything the same as I did for my past two peels. Does anyone know what could've happened?
So I just had my first peel 4 days ago. It was a vi peel & Im prob just freakin out, but was wondering if its norm for the new skin to be red & super sensitive. Its to the point that even the cleaner & moisturizer burns. Im using the stuff from my derm office, so im not sure why this is happening. Even the vi sunscreen seems to burn my "new skin". Also, yesterday my lips started to burn a little & have been burning every since. Sorta feels like they are wind burned…is that normal too? Thanks
I got a Vi Peel 3 days ago and my skin starts to peel off, and the skin turned to brown too. It also was really easy for me to take the dead skin off, so without thinking, I took plenty of the dead skin off, but some of the new skin is pretty red and it hurts a little. I'm wondering, will the redness be gone after the peeling process is over, or it may take longer for my skin to recover?
I had a VI peel 3 days ago. The practitioner did not give me the home treatment kit and about t30 mins after treatment my skin was BURNING. I have red spots on my cheeks, very limited peeling and more pronounced brown spots on my cheeks. Is this normal?
I had the VI Peel done 4 days ago. I admit, there are places I peeled off too soon, but the majority of the redness on my chin occurred despite not self peeling and following post-op instructions to a T. There are areas of the chin and around my mouth which are dry and chapped, how do I proceed and avoid hyperpigmentation (which has occurred on the cheek where I peeled too soon) and scarring (which the spot on my cheek looks like it might have) How can I prevent/correct my issues?
I had Vi precision peel done 7 days ago, the skin has all fallen off with some areas peeling twice. However my skin is veryyyy red and pink, and the skin tone is not even there are darker pieces of pink skin that don't look fully healed even tho I haven't picked at the skin. I am still using hydrocortisone and aquaphor to help sooth the skin but it's made no difference! What can I expect to happen next, will my skin improve?
I am in day 2 of a VI peel and my face is red (sunburned) all over and a bit hot. I have followed all directions and the dr said to try Cortisone to help the redness. How long will the redness last? The peeling phase has not yet started. Thank you very much!
Please help! I am scared i have really messed up. I had a vi peel 2 days ago, and i have a very red tight face with LOTS and LOTS of red very itchy bumps. Especially around my chin and behind my ears.... everywhere. My neck is extremely red and swollen with the same red bumps. Obviously i am allergic to this peel. I also have not started to peel... At All!! Should i be on some sort of RX??? I am afraid I have ruined my face. This is absolutely terrible. I am really scared.
I had my second VI peel done three days ago and now I have clusters of tiny red bumps all over the sides of my face. The peel wasn't applied to my neck and dcolletage so I don't understand why there are red bumps there. The tiny red bumps look like pimples. Is this normal? This did not happen after my first peel. Is this rash a result of a bad reaction? What should I do? Thanks in advance.
