I have brown spots and spider veins on my face that I would like to get rid of and have an even skin tone, I have been told to do either IPL, Vbeam, DermaV in the past. Which procedure is the least painful and which procedure has the least downtime?
Hello RealSelf Community, I've just had TCA CROSS with 70% TCA and am considering a VBeam treatment. Due to a vacation planned in 7 weeks, I'm thinking of scheduling the VBeam 2 weeks after the TCA CROSS. Is this gap safe and advisable for skin recovery and optimal results? Looking forward to your insights! Thank you!
I had several blue veins around both eyes and was treated with the YAG laser. During the visit, I was also treated with IPL for melasma on the upper cheek/eye area. I developed broken capillaries afterwards and did not have any luck treating them with YAG or IPL. I just saw a dermatologist and she thinks I can get rid of them with the Vbeam laser but it might make the melasma worse. Is this the best option?
20 y/o with jawline keloid scarring and hyperpigmentation for 5-6 years. Started with steroid injections to help flatten then moved on to several vbeam and fraxel procedures. Skin has minimally improved and I was wondering if it is worth it to keep doing vbeam or find another treatment.
I usually try to clean my pores in the nose by nails I mean squeezing by nails or finger tips. About a year ago a red spot appeared on my nose after it and its still there..initially it didnt bother me that much but now it is as I am getting married soon. I have gone to a doctor and she told me its just an acne and gave me adapalene..I was satisfied as I was looking for some laser or stuff that can make it go away soon. P
I had 2 Vbeam sessions. My left cheek was bruised which stopped fading after 2 months. I'm now left with a reddish cheek. Research online learned me that for people who are prone to broken capillaries (myself), bruising will induce angiogenesis. I went back to the clinic and she told me that indeed there are a lot of broken capillaries. Another session with gentle settings would be the only thing that could help. I'm hesitant. What if new vessels will be created? Please advise.
