2 weeks after my first vbeam session I had an acne flare up (red bumps all over face) on skin that usually just gets the occasional pimple and had been under control for several years. I noticed one day, around that time, after being out in the sun for the day (with sunscreen) my recent breakout had exacerbated by late afternoon. So I'm wondering, is it possible that the heat from the vbeam, like the heat from the sun, cost me a breakout that I'm still stuck with almost 8 weeks later?
Hello, sorry for my English, I come from Belgium. I had a vbeam perfecta purpuric treatment 12 days ago and I am still marked. Is this normal? The bruises are gone but leave a red-brown color on my skin. Is it hyperpigmentation or hemosiderin? Vitamin K oxide and vitamin C can help? Thanks a lot for your answers
I went in for a Vbeam on a pretty old hypertrophic scar on my nose that was very red. At first I thought the VBeam worked great (a day or 2) after the healing, the scar looked much, much lighter but about a week later, the redness returned; granted not to the same degree. This is not rosacea, its a hypertrophic scar on my nose so I'm wondering why the redness returned to the treated area even though a few days after healing it seemed much lighter?
12 days ago I had a vbeam test area done. The area is now a significantly darker red than it used to be. I didn't have pupuric bruising after - this crept up a few days after the procedure. Pre-op, the doc told me that a smaller spot size will result in a higher power needing to be used. I'm just curious how this works? I chose a smaller spot size of around 5-6mm because I didn't want to vbeam healthy areas of skin - only the specific area that is red.
I have some redness and dilated capillaries on my nose. I had an initial non purpuric vbeam done 2 weeks ago (note I am Indian hence have light brown skin). The first week post treatment were very good with redness reduced to an impressive extent. However by 2 weeks after the treatment some of the redness has come back. Is this normal? Will they eventually go completely after successive treatments? Thanks.
