Not a Good Option of People of Color - Very Visible Scars (Not Keloids) - Clayton, MO

I had a LSL in April of 2010. With the 3 year mark rapidly approaching, I felt obligated to review this procedure. I am a woman of color, and was very skeptical about the LSL because of where they do the incision (outside of the ear). Very similar story - bad scars - very embasseded with the outcome of my surgery which was almost 3 years ago. I was told that scars would fade, but so far, they are literally the same are they were 8 weeks after surgery. READ COMMENT

NO!!! With a LSL the incision is made outside of your ear down the side of your face. With a Mini Face lift the incision is concealed inside your ear. Unless you have no melanin in your skin, the scar "will" be visible. READ COMMENT
