Good luck. Just be prepared for the teeth to hurt and be abnormally sensitive for awhile. Especially when the glue is coming off. Its a pain but I LOVE IT. I smiled all day today.

For clarification...most insurances will not pay for orthodontics for adults. My insurance dropped that rule and now pays 70% up to 2500. I am 38. That should clarify the age question.
Compression stockings are important to teduce a chance of blood clots and swelling. Anyone who has insurance can ask your doctor to write a prescription for ted hose and take it to a place with medical equipment etc.
Will you be returning home with the drain in? When u get home, if you are still really swollen, see if you can get a doctor to give u lasix. It is a fluid pill. You pee alot but it will work.
