I lost 90 pounds. I'm 5'10 193 pounds. I just want my stomach/apron flatter. Not moving with heavy weight lifting. Doctor told me that a tummy tuck cannot do anything for me and that he would only recommend a belt lipectomy. I don't want that. Do you think I can benefit from just a tummy tuck, no lipo, no muscle repair.
I had an extended TT, no lipo, no muscle tightening Had seroma, was aspirated 3x a week and 9 times in total before the seroma stayed away. Now I am free of seroma, but I am disappointed. Pre-Op my surgeon warned me that the scar would end up higher than normal. I did not care, as long as my tummy ended up flat. But I am not flat. My body stores no fat below the incision, but does above, and there is no gradual decrease. Will lowering bodyfat% help to look better ? Will this get better ?
I'm 24 years old, I had excess skin after significant weight loss. I'm 12 days out from having a tummy tuck without lipo or muscle repair. I've been off my pain meds for about a week now and my energy level is almost back to normal! The only slow part about my recovery has been getting my drains out. I've been feeling so great I forgot to take it easy! Hopefully they'll be out in the next few days though. When is the soonest I can get back to long distance running/aerobic/strength training?
After 3 kids and still looking like this after running a marathon and doing pilates, I certainly need a TT but do I need additional lipo and more importantly, is it safe to do at the same time? Would it look that bad if I just did the TT? Thank you!
I am about 4 months out from an extended tummy tuck with NO liposuction at all. I exercise 6 days/week and follow a rigorous diet. I was hoping to compete in a female bodybuilding contest, however my new shape seems oddly proportioned. My flanks and lower back above my incision seem puffy. That area is usually where I store fat, however I am at my lowest weight ever, and still looking puffy. Did extra fat cells grow there?? or could I still be swollen at four months post op?
