I was beyond pleased with my results but now Im noticing my skin started to sag a bit now and the ripping around my belly button looks terrible. Do I need a revision or Im stuck looking like this??
I'll be 3 months post TT and diastasis repair on Aug 3rd. I'm worried that I don't have a smooth contour. It looks lumpy, rippled. I've texted pictures to my doctor. He said because I was so small my smooth muscles are showing through but this will correct itself in 6-9 months not to worry.
I had a tummy tuck eight days ago and I'm extremely concerned about how my skin is bunching on the sides of the incision I am using the scar cream sold to me by the surgeon twice a day however I am worried that this bunching is not going to be resolved even overtime
I am 3 months post op from a full tummy tuck with lipo and muscle repair. I'm pretty small (26 inch waist) healthy weight etc. But I've noticed that the skin above my belly button isn't sitting tight and I can see fluid ripple underneath it. When I move or tap the skin, it ripples. And when it sit down, I get folds because the skin is sitting on fluid. My surgeon won't see me for over a month and I'm distressed about my results and worried. I have been in my compression garment for 3 months
I am applying my embrace scar treatment Strips to my tummy tuck scar as directed. I leave it on for two hours before I put any clothing up around it. It always starts to ripple leaving deep demarcations on my skin all around my scar and on my Tummy should I be concerned about this? Your advice is greatly appreciated
I am feeling this pulling twinge feeling on my right side close to my BB. At first I thought I had popped a stitch but like I said it is to the side of my BB about 1/2 an Inch. It's hard to describe the feeling it's a cross between a pulling twinge and a ripping feeling. It has happened several times this evening and all in the same area. It doesn't feel like the shocking feeling of everything healing so I am really concerned. I am 3 weeks PO TT, MR w/ Lipo of Hips and Flanks.
I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair 10 days ago and I am horrified at what I see. I have so much wrinkling going on at the incision and I'm really worried about it. When I look at images of other peoples tummy tucks I don't see the wrinkles like I have. Will they smooth out over time or is this a botched tummy tuck?
I has a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo of the flanks. I am now 5 weeks post op and I still have a gross pooch like area in my lower abdomen. It's especially prominent when I bend over. My plastic surgeon says it's just swelling, but to me it looks and feels like fat and skin and I'm starting to feel like I didn't pick a good surgeon. I'm also concerned by the dark color of my scar, and the red ripple lines still all around it. Help please!
I weigh 117, did not have a pouch/apron, so there wasn't much to work with. I believe its why I'm on day 12 and still walk hunched over. I wonder if I'm going to likely be needing a revision due to the pleats on the ends of the incisions. Also, where the old belly button is fitted into the TT incision looks a bit haphazard, and there are vertical pleats which crease upwards from the source of that. I am happy that I have a new belly button, and I'd trade my old belly for a crazy scar any day.
I'm currently 12 dpo and I when I first seen my incision I just about freaked out, I seen everyones incision on here and it looks like a line, my is a dimpled, rippled mess. My PS says it's like that because he put in anchoring stitches because I wanted my incision so low and they should disolve in 6-8 weeks but I really find it hard to believe that my incision area will flatten out.
