I had my surgery 11/2021. Had some complications with my incision. It got infected. They had to dig the staples out. When they took the anchor it left a big hole in the center. Was sorta a nightmare. My doctor didnt recommend massages. Said they were not needed. Now I have this weird pooch that sticks out. Is there a reason why and a way to fix it?
I had a tummy tuck 18mos ago. 2 years prior I had full abs, 2mos prior small waist with loose skin, very minimal fat. I workout regularly and have a controlled/clean diet most of the time. Prior my stomach would fall into itself laying down and now stays out and is hard. Very obvious lower abdomen pooch and muffin tip over scar. 15lbs lighter than before surgery, it's not fat. My jeans and panties don't fit, I had to go up a size.
Im 52 175lbs and workout regularly but nothing changes with my pooch! Im planning on having a breast reduction as well as a tummy tuck and wanted to know if my expectations of having a flat figure are achievable.
I had a tummy tuck last year and still have a pooch in my lower belly. I thought it may still be swelling after 6 months so I went back to see my surgeon and was told it was visceral fat. He also told me I had bloating and that going on a lactose free diet may help. He said if I lost 2-3 lbs and continue doing my sit ups, which I had been doing since 6 weeks post op, I would see a difference. I lost 11lbs, do my sit-ups daily and stopped lactose. Its still there. Any suggestions??
I am 5'9 155lbs, no children, 39 yrs. Always thin arms and legs, but always pot belly pooch. I know pics are desired. But are there certain things that are dead give-aways when making this choice? I want a flat tummy.
Im 6 months post op. Pics are in the morning. When I suck in a bit Im completely flat, when I relax completely my stomach is a bit rounded. I can feel the line down my diastasis (Im assuming dissolving stitches or scar tissues etc). Do women sometimes experience this? Does a little sticking out when relaxed mean my muscle repair failed?
I had a full TT 5 months ago I was 5'4 and weighed 123lbs. I workout and have a low-cal diet, I never had a fat stomach just separation of muscles and loose skin. I expected to look completely flat after my full TT with slight liposuction but its not, I still have a slight pouch. I told my PS and he said everyone will still have a slight pouch or they are sucking in. I am back working out but the change is not like I expected. No one can tell I had anything done and I am 120 lbs is this true?
After my Tummy Tuck 9 months ago, I still have a pooch in my lower tummy. I can suck it in, but it is still noticable. I know there is no muscle damage or separation because it is still very firm. Is this an area that will need Liposuction? The pooch is pretty much along my incision line. Can it still be just swelling?
Ive had 3 children, the first was via emergency c section. Im at a healthy weight (125 lbs and Im 52) and my c section scar is barely noticeable. I do have the c section pouch above my scar and Im wondering what kind of procedure I would need to remove it, if I could possibly do a more non-invasive procedure vs a full on surgical one.
I had 2 C-sections. I weighed 220lbs on day of surgery, height 5’2” after loosing 70lbs with a gastricband. I had a huge apron. I got a tummy tuck + Muscle repair + lipo + love handles removed before 7 weeks. I have a nice lower tummy but my upper belly is huge unlike before surgery. As I have a gastricband, my surgeon said he worked his best on the upper belly but had to be careful about the band. They took 13lbs off me in surgery but weigh the same before surgery. Worried about my weight and my upperbelly.
