How many times do you think Ill need to get my seroma drained? Im 4 weeks post TT and my first time with needle drain, they extracted 150 cc. It is now building back up again. I cannot take it easy anymore than I already have, as I have 2 small kids at home. I wear compression 24/7 except in the shower.
Its been exactly 2 weeks since my tt. My ps removed my drain today (thank the Lord) but now my stomach is swollen so bad. It feels and looks like I have gas. Is this normal? Will it go down? I really cant think of getting another drain now having fluid removed via needle.
I got a seroma after a TT. It's the biggest nuisance ever. I was actually wondering: Is a 18 ga 1 1/2 inch needle LONG enough to actually puncture your abdominal wall? My surgeon is always injecting the needle in me and moving it around to drain me. Quite frankly it scares me at times. I just want to know if realistically i have anything to worry about (in terms of being punctured). Clearly a 10 inch needle would do that but would a 1 1/2?
8 weeks out of tummy tuck, 5'11 175lb, had drains after, one pulled at 3 weeks and next 6 weeks. Persist seroma needle aspirated 4 times in last 2 weeks. Surgeon suggested surgery at last visit but then aspirated and only got out 60cc which was 120cc/110cc/85cc. Going back Saturday for exam. Had several surgeons on this site say surgery may be next step I'm wondering if body will eventually fix issue and what is chance of reoccurring if surgery is needed?
