I am 35 years old and was diagnosed in 2020 with ms. I have minor tingle / numbing in my fingers and in the past I've had a flare up when I was first diagnosed but I been going steady and everything looks good. I've been without flare ups over a year and I want a tummy tuck. I don't know who would perform as a few places turned me down even with a clearance from my primary and neurologist.
I've had 3 kids , tubes tied . I'm ready to have a body I can be comfortable with. I live in MS and feel there aren't any options, not many reviews to look at etc highly concerned with who to choose with such little reviews etc
I have had MS for 11 years and only 2 relapses in that time not counting the one that lead to my diagnosis. I'm 33, work out 4-5 days a week and eat healthy. Is there any contraindications to having cosmetic surgery? My surgeon is aware I have MS and he plans on doing 2 separate surgeries (tummy tuck and breast lift first) and 6 months later an augmentation. He will only go forward if my specialist will give approval and she refuses. Should I see a new neurologist for a second opinion?
I am a mother of 5. 2 of them c section. I also have lost around 100 pounds. I am thinking of getting a tummy tuck and possible liposuction or lift of my thighs. I also have MS and wonder what extras as a Dr you do during or after surgery to help prevent me from having an exacerbation?
My heath issues with MS as the typical legs, can get stiff and weak but i still live, work, drive and walk without assistance on the majority of days, and the typical fatigue, i sleep well and think that apart from the obvious stress leading up to the surgery (planning to have next Jan) I should be ok. My husband fully supports me and will be around to help as much as I need. I plan on 4 wks off work and lots of rest to ensure a good recovery. So would you recommend surgery with my MS?
