I am 45. Twenty years ago after having 3 children I had liposuction and then had it again a few years later. After the second lipo I developed fibrosis and irregularities. I also have laxity only in the upper portion of my abdomen.
I had lipo done on my abdomen but I developed fibrosis. My abdomen looks uneven. I am doing everything my surgeon told me to but its not getting better. Its being 3 months. Would a tummy tuck fix this?
I had liposuction with Vaser to correct fibrosis iJuly 2021. Now I am stuck with loose skin. Recommendations for which tummy tuck do I need? And will J plasma in addition be beneficial or just tummy tuck alone will suffice? also looking for vulva reduction. Thanks
I had lipo 360, arm lipo and a bbl in November 2020. Despite post-op lymphatic draining massages and wearing my faja and boards, I still have quite a bit of fibrosis. I recently went back to my surgeon and he suggested a tummy tuck to help with my elasticity. Id like to have a more snatched waist and breast augmentation but want to make sure that Im getting the right procedure(s) based on my fibrosis and with another surgeon. Thank you in advance and looking forward to your expert opinion
Dear Surgeons, I had a tummy tuck 6 months ago. 24 hours after the tummy tuck I had a big bleeding with Hmatoms, that was treated with drains. I had compression 4 months. Under my belly button is my belly hard, big and painful if I touch on. What is it? Swelling? But after 6 months? Fibrosis? I am sad, I hope, that goes away. Does it go away? Will it be okay? I want to have a flat belly. I am 160 cm and 47 kg. Should I have compression again? Thank you if you answer!
I lost 120lbs via diet and exercise and am at the weight I would like to be (my BMI is 29). ALL of my bloodwork is normal (including liver function tests, liver enzymes, thromboplastin time, etc). Normal EKG, normal BP, no diabetes or pre-diabetes. However, my liver is still fatty (although vastly improved) and I still have some liver fibrosis (due to the fatty liver). My liver specialist said that I might be a candidate for elective surgery, but that it would be the surgeon's decision.
I have severe abdominal fibrosis after having lipo in Feb 2016 and TT in Aug 2016. I have tried massages and have worn my garment. I do have lupus and I suspected the fibrosis is a result of my body's inflammatory response to the surgery. Other than tjis, my lupus is very controlled, I do not take steroids and I have no organ damage. My rheumatologist did clear me for both surgeries. Is there any non surgical procedure that can reduce or eliminate the fibrosis? Can steroid injections help me?
