I had a TT on 6/27, and noticed my drain had stopped collecting on 6/28. I was told to milk the line and come back on 6/29 where I was told I had a hematoma. I have double homo MTHFR and was on lovenox. That was discontinued. Since then I have gotten 150/160ml between 4pm and 2:30am. I've been alternating a warm BAG, massage, milking, and cold compress. Is there anything else? Do I lie flat or sit up? I have an appointment tomorrow 6/30 to hear options. Will this ruin my results? I'm so upset.
I had a mommy makeover 2 weeks ago... tummy tuck, breast augmentation and lipo on my arms and back....don't have the drains anymore and overall I feel better...still sore mostly on my arms....but everyday im feeling better....it's just that im cold and have to wear a sweater where everyone else says its not cold at all.... is it normal? Do I have to worry? ?
I am about 3 weeks Post Op. Everything looks great and seems to be healing well. However I have noticed in the last few days when I get cold (bc its in the 40s where I live) I'm experiencing an extreme wave of cold chills complete with Goosebumps\ major standing hair and a crazy prickly feelsling that radiates & travels over my upper tummy and it is the most uncomfortable feeling ever! Could this be due to the tuck or muscle repair??
I am 18 days post op from Tummy tuck with abdominal repair and lipo. I feel pretty good and am able to do a lot more. But, occasionally I get chills and body aches and can't get warm. I saw my PS yesterday and all looks great. I've read somewhere that this is normal around 18 days. Has anyone experiences this.
I think my kindergartener brought home germs! She and her sister and my husband all had bad colds this past week and I'm suddenly feeling that early onset we all notice and dread! Mom can't get sick ever, but mom REALLY can't get sick 4 days before a tummy tuck. Generally, will doctors still perform surgery when the patient has a cold virus? And should I not take Sudafed if I am in need of relief? (Not there.... yet!)
I've been told by a few tt patients that applying a cold pack will reduce swelling. They used a different doctor than I've chosen. My tt surgeon's pre-op instructions says not to use cold or hot therapy to the area. What is your take on this? tysm
