Hello. I had a tummy tuck in October 2023 so just over 6 months ago. I had sever skin folds across my stomach and although most have flattened there is one that is still here despite how much compression I used during the first 6 months as instructed. I no longer wear my comoresssion garment and now I wonder whether this fold will be permanent and Im extremely self conscious about it.
I have a bulge above my scar and dog ears but surgeon said it was normal and I just need to exercise. He said he couldn't do lipo on my hips as this is a different procedure and would have to come back if I want it done.
I had a tummy tuck 6 months ago. Ive had 3 infections.. my tummy tuck does not look like its healing as much as I would have expected. I still have these holes that you can squeeze white stuff out of I dont think think is normal after 6 months po
Im currently 6 months po and as of yesterday Im experiencing a stinging sensation just below my belly button on the right side of stomach. I feel it when I stand/sometimes walk and move my waist especially when I sit for a long period then eventually stand. Its very strange feeling that has just started. When I press down on that area the feeling subsides a bit. What do you recommend, is this normal?
Hi i had a tummy tuck 6 months ago amd i have a weird skin bellow my belly button! The dr suggest to massage it! But I doubt would help! What should i do? Should i ask him for a revision? And what caused this problem?! This surgeon was is a famous doctor in town!
6 months post ETT. Healed incision which had numerous spitting stitches that had delayed healing. Now that its fully healed however, there are about 5 stitches i can feel that have not yet dissolved and moved trying to find their way out. They are right under the scar. What can i do to encourage them to dissolve?
6 months post ETT, Mons Lift and Muscle Repair with Lipo to loce handles and upper abdomen. No longer swelling in love handles. However still have lump in upper abdomen. Unsure if it could still be swelling or if this is fat. I had significant bruising to love handles from lipo but none on upper abdo. Was the lipo missed? Or is there no bruising becahse the skin is separated from the muscle prior? I still have some loose skin in upper abdo as was due to weight loss not pregnancy.
I had a tummy tuck June 2023, Im 6 months post op. Im not flat, Ill attach pics. When i stand up, there is a hardness or a tender part of my top abs. That does not go away with compression. I feel puffy up top. Wondering is this normal? Is it just going to take time for my stomach to soften up? I feel it sitting down too, just the middle part of my abdomen is tender and feels hard. I dont know how else to explain, but Im ready for it to be normal. Any tips? I also workout 4-5 days a week.
I had an extended tummy tuck in May 2022, so Im right around the six month mark and Ive been having pain on the right side where the hourglass curve starts all the way to the belly button and it feels like nerve pain. I also feel like there may be a little bit more fat left over in that area. If I wear full compression or a belly wrap and everything is kept completely flat, the pain goes away. If I wear a compression tank top, like my doctor has instructed, the pain comes back. Is this normal?
