I'm 4 days post op and I'm honestly freaking out about this. It looks so ridiculous. Even when I'm laying down it doesn't flatten. Does that mean anything if it's always swollen even laying down? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Anyways everything else my doctor did was perfect in my opinion ( I had a breast augmentation as well as the tummy tuck). This is my only concern. Oh also there is not really any pain in the pubic area. I purchased compression garments I hope they work.
Im 4 days PO (its early. I know). Ive done a lot of research on bunching or pleating. I still feel like mine is an extreme case. Im trying to encourage myself that these pleats will fade over time, yet I cant shake the feeling Ill have to have a revision. My tummy tuck was due to a hysterectomy scar/scar revision. I received a fully tummy with muscle repair. I used a Military Plasic surgeon. Im concerned. What should I expect?
I am 4 days post-op from TT and flank lipo. Is it ok to lightly massage the lipo/flank area? My entire abdomen itches but more so in the flank area. It is making me crazy! Is there anything I can do? Benadryl, lotion? If a patient had 2 drains, one putting out a lot and the other putting out very little and the putting out a lot was accidently pulled out, would it be more typical to put it back in or go without? If left out would that increase the chance of swelling or a possible blood clot? Thank you!
I had a tummy tuck and lipo suction 4 days ago. My face today has turned red and blotchy. I have been drinking more water then ever. So it's not from dehydration. Also my face burns a little bit as well. I have not been outside in the sun or exposed to anything.
I'm feeling bummed. The pain was terrible and now its mostly discomfort and tightness of course. My pulse rate has never come down from 120 since I left the hospital on day two. It was 150 post-op, and I got beta blockers. Blood pressure 140/97. Is that because of the pain? Dr. seems OK with it. Have a headache right now I'm just feeling really hopeless and depressed. Pretty mobile. Diarrhea has been every day and all day leaving me dehydrated. Any suggestions?
Day 4 post op circumferential tummy tuck with muscle repair no lipo. Should I be trying to wean dosage to 1 5mg tablet q4 by now? When I try to seems I have breakthrough pain within an hour, it's not untolerable just not gone like with 2 tablets.
I am just curious about what is normal swelling and what is the sign of a problem. I had my tummy tuck three days ago. Yesterday when I removed all dressing my stomach was flat and no swelling. By the evening below my belly button and past incision is swollen up like a softball.
