I had a full TT and lipo on 4-19, drains out on 4-26. Now that drains are out, I notice I have an indent or impression on my pubic area. What is this? Its right under my incision line and in between where my drains were. 30 F, 55, 170.
So I had tummy tuck with repair, I am post opp 10 days bd I can move around pretty good since day 1. But I cant stand or walk long because of the strain on my back and not being able to stand up. I try and get up and move through out the day, but I notice once I sit or wake up either I feel like a cement brick lol or everything re tightens and its a pull to even stand where I know I can.. Any suggestions? Thoughts? Can I massage or do stretches to help?
I had a tummy tuck 10 days ago. Unfortunately, the wound got a bit infected and it didnt close completely (about 1/4 inch hole, right in the middle of tummy, above the pubic hair). I am asked to use syringe and insert the iodine (100ml) into the hole (under the skin) and to package it by 6 gaze soaked in iodine and to push it into that hole by myself twice a day. Is it normal that patient does this herself at home or it should be done by nurse.
I had a tummy tuck on 2/25 and I dont how to feel about the results. I have deep vertical lines on my incision where the PS says is quilted stitches and once the dissolve they will go away. Also I have a darken, hard area above my incision. My PS says that it doesnt look infected and it was a result of sensitivity from steri-strips, but I am super concerned.
My stomach is not firm like people say it should be. I can push down on it and jiggle with my hand a bit. Is this because it is not attached to the muscle wall yet ? Drains were removed at 7 DPO and wasnt draining very much at that point. Some people are suggesting that I have a seroma but I do not have fever, lump /ball, bruising or pain. I am wearing the binder dr gave 24/7
Im 11 days post-op from abdominoplasty And lipo front and back. So far everything looks good. However, my belly button is leaking a bit and my surgical glue is still firmly place. Im also still very swollen and i feel VERY tight. Today Im feeling very tired and keep getting cold chills and then Sweating bouta. Im trying to figure out if this is my menopause acting up or if something could be going on.. Please advise. Thank you
My belly button is slowly bleeding 10 days post op. It started a couple days ago after I cleaned it out with a Q tip and I think a scab came off. I started motrin that day as well and took it the next day. Could the motrin be aggravating it more? Should I just stick to Norco until it scabs up again?
