I had a tummy tuck almost 4 years ago. It came out horrible. I have since lost about 30 pounds and everything has gotten smaller except my stomach. Since the tummy tuck and muscle repair my stomach has just looked like a ball. It's so misshapen I don't know if there's any fixing this. I do have more scars now because I did have a colon resection since the tummy tuck. I added pictures of before, after I was healed and then now
13 weeks post op tt, just looking some advice I have already tried shapers etc but I'm giving up it's not for going back in, will it go back in with time or do I need a revision thanks
My lower abs have never been flat. Ive had this round bulge right above my pubic mount. It Has been there the whole time. Does that mean my diastasis was never repaired in that area. I have attached a picture of my early on right after surgery and a picture 5 years later. The bulge is hard.
Im little over 1yr tummy tuck revision. pretty sure im going through menopause. Ive gotten my period 2x a month, last 3 months. W/that said ive gained 5-6lbs. I do not feel well. My stomach is distended/bloated. Nothing fits well. Yesterday (mon) noticed a light redish bruise. Today (tue) i saw Dr for kenalong injection. he said i may have pulled a suture. After the injection the bruise is darker. Could this weight gain make a suture pull/rip the repair? This is my 3rd, i cant do any more fixing
I had a full TT in Oct 2023. Im not happy with my results. My belly button is higher and looks and feels like it is being pulled up. Its flat at best. He says he repaired my hernia but all he sutured was the fascia and not the muscles at the hernia, it bulges sometimes. He is very dismissive. What can be done to lower my belly button, deepen it, and is that how PS repair an umbilical hernia? Please do not say its within normal; Id like to know what can be done and approx $ and recovery.
I had a tummy tuck with lipo in summer 2022, then had lipo of flanks and back in spring 2023. I originally believed the flanks would be done during the tummy tuck and I wasn't concerned about the bra line at the time. I feel like I look the same, minus the saggy skin. I am not sure if I have dog ears? I see others on here with the same concern and similar result and their revisions look fantastic and what I was hoping to get the first time. Is it me or the tummy tuck that's the issue?
Age 35. I have had a tummy tuck. I am at the 2.5 weeks of recovery stage. I noticed the difference in both side's curves. The left side is still numb and stiff where less curve. The right side looks more hollow. I am not sure if is there any solution to fix this uneven curves.
I had a mini TT 6 months ago and from the very beginning I felt there was to much skin remaining. I was told to give it time and now this is what Im left with. I feel I need a full TT to correct this and was looking for advice and a doctor. I will also need breast revision at the same time.
Initial surgery-Nov. 2021 Mommy Makeover 6 months later revision surgery- for capsular contracture of RB and wedge resection. Problems: I hate my tummy tuck. The belly button has a circular scar. The integrity of the belly button is poor as loose skin hangs inside and if I am not mistaken it's rather low (it's giving butthole). The line that protrudes erect from my scar. May need laser therapy for lightening scars. This seems like poor cosmetic planing. Deeply upset. Is this fixable?
I had my first Tummy tuck in 2014 after my first 3 kids. I had lost 90 lbs and got In the best shape of my life. Fast forward after a divorce, and untying my tubes, I had two more kids and c-sections. I am in the middle of trying to lose 40-50 lbs - but I have a feeling Ill need a revision. New stretch marks on my upper abdomen arent too bad, but my incision has a bump shelf and I hate it. My OB said my abs never separated, so is it just skin removal?
