Approximately five weeks after my thread lift a barbed thread started to work its way out and in same area an inch long dent formed. My practitioner treated me with antibiotics and decided it was best to remove entire barbed thread. Under the dent is gummy scar like tissue. With thread removed will dent ever go away? Its long and deep and still discolored. Entire procedure did nothing for me. There was no lift effect at all and now Im left with dent and scar. What will fix this permanently?
There is a doctor in my area that uses dermal filler to disguise / fill in dents and dimples caused by threads, after the thread lift. Have any other doctors heard of this practice? I am 3.5 weeks post treatment and this was used 3 times on me- i dont like how it looks. It just made my skin look uneven in texture.
placed in poland 5th july 2018. no pain, no swelling anymore. however the puckering just isnt changing since day 11, literally no change. what can i do to speed up the process to get rid of these dents, holes in my face, im hibernating in my home.
Please, I need advice. 2 weeks ago I had 4 PDO mezo-threads put into my cheek area. After swelling went down I can see the threads being partly visible under the skin and have couple of bumps and dents. Definetly look worse. Is it possible to remove the threads or is it the only solution to wait until they get naturaly absorbed? If they can be removed - how difficult is it comparing to the original procedure of the application? Thanks!!!
Hello The doctor who preformed my thread lift left huge dents in my face that were not going away, so I ended up getting a lot of filler to correct. I also have three threads poking out of my face when smile. Was this procedure done correctly?
Hi there, I am judy. I'm just so depressed with what happened to my face after thread lift. My doctor put a total of 100 threads in my cheeks, which I thought would V lift my face, but then, it didn't go well as I expected. It's been more than a month now and I saw some dimples on my left cheek, like dents!! I am so sad right now. Do you think this will be permanent or do I have to wait longer to get my old facial texture? What procedure should i do to flatten my skin again?
I got a pdo threadlift done one week ago. 4 threads each cheek. One side looks like Im permanently smiling, a concavity below cheek. very tender and if I touch the insertion point near my ear I can feel it directly tugging at the indented area. I cannot smile normally , its probably at 50% when I try. extremely worried. Will this resolve on its own? It seems like a deep indent. What can I do to correct this.
