I'm going to be staying over night a hospital because Dr feels because I've had bariatric surgery I'm more prone to infection or wound separatean because he said malnutrition which I don't think I'm malnurced and neither does my bariatric surgeon. went to preop last week my direction for recovery is first 2 wks to baby legs keep legs together always closed not to be moving around a lot not to do a lot of walking is this right? I always been told walk after surgery so you don't get blood clots
I am 5'2 and weigh 400 pounds. I already lost 150 pounds and have so much excess skin on my legs I can't walk or lay down properly and sitting hurts. I need surgery to remove it as I constantly have infected sores from my thighs pulling at each other. Several surgeons said I was above the bmi which I know I am as that's why my doctor won't get government to pay for it but I am willing to pay for it out of my own pocket. How do I find a doctor willing to help?
Will I be able to wear a bikini in aprox 2 months , and not have this horrible bumpy scar... I dont mind the redness or darkness of the scar, but i just want it flat. Im a week post op. Do i still have chances of infection at this point? Also my skin is stiff and really hard in that area. Rock hard. Is it a seroma or fluid? Help!

Had a medial thigh lift 2 weeks ago and am battling an infection in my groin incisions. I'm on antibiotics, rinsing every time I pee, then wash area with antibacterial soap, rinse, pat dry and blow dry. Doc suggested polysporin powder but appears to be unavailable anywhere. I'd love additional impute on how to handle this infection and/or tips to heal rapidly. I am in FL now, but return to AZ in about 10 days. Hope to have this resolved prior to leaving. Any suggestions? Any powder available?
