I am interested in liposuction, most likely smart lipo. I feel that I bruise and scar easier than most, and want to know if there is permanent scarring or marks after a procedure? I am looking to have a few areas done- upper and lower stomach, thighs, love handles, and bra rolls. I am certainly willing to do these procedures in phases and not all at not, as I am a 24y/o college student and do not have the time to be laid up in recovery for too long.
I had Smart Lipo done last week on my banana rolls, lower abdomen and saddle bags. I had very little fat to remove, it was mostly done for sculpting specific fat pockets. It's been a week and my thighs are covered in black and blue bruises and are sore, my banana roll area is so sore and tender that I can't sit for too long without having to get up and walk it off, and my abdomen feels numb to the touch and is a little sore and very swollen. When does the bruising and pain go away??
I had Smart Lipo yesterday on my upper and lower abs and flanks. I am very swollen and bruised around the 2 incision holes that are on my upper vagina area. The bruising has extended out to my inner thighs as well as my entire vagina area. This area and my lower abdomin are very swollen and tender. How important is it to massage these areas? If I dont massage them enough will this effect my end result or just take longer for the swelling to go down?
I had Smartlipo 12 days ago and I am healing well, and the bruises are disappearing nicely, my only concern is , although I don't visably look swollen, I can't fit into any of my clothes, other than loose ones. Will I reduce in size and be able to fit my clothe again, and when should I expect to be able to do this? Thank you.
I'm 11 days post smartlipo of upper and lower abs, flanks and inner thighs. I initially had awful bruising in the mons and vagina, my doc did his lower abdominal incisions on the mons area to keep them low. The bruising has gone away but now I am dealing with a very large, heavy, and sore mons pubis. I do massage and have recently bought some compression like underwear to try to put some pressure where the garment doesn't. Will this go away? What can I do to speed it up??
I got smart lipo done on my lower abdomen 2 days ago. been wearing compression garment 24/7. still have bruising but Im taking arnica tablets. I don't expect instant results obviously but I've been a little worried reading about people who get hardness, lumpiness, odd looking naval, no results, etc. what can i do to ensure best results possible? took a walk today and it was difficult but tolerable. Should I remain immobile for a while or is light walking/exercise good for the healing process?
I had Smartlipo 5 days ago on upper arms/armpit fat. My doctor removed about 200ccs total fat (just fat not red liquid) combined. I am badly bruised and my arms are very swollen and burning slightly. I realize it takes 3 months or more to see results and I was very clear on what I was trying to achieve before having the procedure (better shape, significant reduction in circumference). Still, I am concerned he did not remove enough fat. I'm 5'7 160lb and my arms were 14 1/4 inches.
