I had my septorhinoplasty on 16th Dec,2018 and my cast was removed on 1st Jan, 2019. After the surgery I had unexplained high fever for a week. Now after over a month, I can see there is a scar, a bump on my septum and also my nose has become crooked and bigger than before. Should I be concerned or keep my patience?
I'm an actress and constantly on camera. My nose breathing has gotten worse over the years and i cant breathe when working out. Ever since I've turned 18, I've tried to sleep with a closed mouth and tried many sleeping tools. terrible mistake. i ended up awaking and gasping for air. i wake up with a dry mouth and my teeth are beginning to yellow and decay. I've had it! its messing up my daily life, but i will not crush my dreams for it either. let me know if there are other things to aid it.
two months ago I was punched In nose there was immediate blood & laceration The next morning I got a X-ray they said that there was a hairline fracture and a deviated septum that I shouldn't be worried and I saw a ENT where he told me that I should wait for 6 months, 3 weeks later I went to a outside ENT he recommended a septoplasty on the 11th of feb he performed surgery my nose is always red, my nasal bone looks bigger on the left side, my breathing isn't better,i can't stand my nose plz help
I am considering a septoplasty. I have seen some awful scars from septoplasty done on light-skinned patients: http://www.atlantaplastic.com/wp-content/gallery/septorhino-03/septorhino-03e-thick.jpg In that picture, the man's scarring is very apparent. I have dark-skin and I am worried that this would be potentially horrible for me since I could form keloids around my nostrils. Is this procedure safe for me? I have included a picture.
I like the tip of my nose and it's crooked from the bridge bone not from the tip which makes the bride shaped like a C. I breathe better from the smaller side of my nose which doesn't have a hump unlike my bigger side. If I get this surgery done under paid insurance and will it leave any noticable scar? And I know in most cases it doesn't effect the shape of your nose but I feel like in my case since it's in inevitable, what will the result most likely look like?
