I have had 7 Scuptra treatments as that what was recommended based on my age, per my dermatologist. My last treatment was in December 2023. Went back today for a follow up and no change at all. My Dr. states he has never experienced where Sculptra did not work and is it a loss. Says need to eat protein, which I do. What can be done now? I spent 5K for treatments that did not work. Went once a month for 7 months.
Hello I am in mid 30's and started with one vial of sculptra, then went for a second and third treatment ( each time one vial). The last time i went it was 2 vials. After many months I saw no results whatsoever. Even when we compared the before and after pictures. I am wondering if there is any point to try more vials since after 5 vials no difference.
I had 5 series of sculptra injected and saw no results for volume and lift. I had voluma injected and has helped however i still have some saggy skin . I am wondering if pdo would be effective for me since its from the same material as sculptra, and sculptra had no effect? .
Ive had 5 vials of sculptra injected in multiple areas on face . My last treatment was 2 vials in April I have had no improvement as of now . Is it possible to still achieve some type of improvement after all this time ?
which treatment is the best and longest lasting for replacing volume in the face? I have had Sculptra in the past and didn't really notice a great improvement. I am contemplating fat transfer as a longer lasting remedy. I have also had Radiesse and do like the results but it gets costly for the amount of volume I need replaced. Any suggestions? Also, does fat transfer leave you bruised and swollen a lot more than say the Sculptra or Radiesse?
Im 51 years old. Ive tried Sculptura in the past but didnt really see any results. This time I bought 3 vials and no results. Im going to a very reputable plastic surgeons office and they want me to be happy so they have graciously continued with more Sculptura at no additional cost to me. I started getting injections (using a cannula) in October 2017! No improvement! Im slated for another appointment in 6 weeks but should I continue??
I had my first Sculptra injections 6 weeks ago and am not seeing any result whatsoever. I have another appointment for Sculptra scheduled in 3 weeks - is it worth taking the chance that this second round will yield results? I have low body fat, so perhaps fat transfer would be a better option to save for?
I have been receiving regular sculptura treatments for 2.5 years (12 vials) with no results. I have been to three different doctors for treatment, and they can't figure out why it doesn't take. Does it not work on some people? I have a very thin face. Results show for a couple of days and then nothing. I also don't respond to fillers such as juvedeem and restalyne. What else can I try? I did try bellafill on my marionette lines, but it migrated beside the lime making the wrinkle look deeper. Any ideas?
I did 5 vials by now, first vials I did on August 3 rd so its about 2 monts as today is October 22nd.I did 2 on August 3rd,after 6 weeks I did one and then after another 6 weeks I had 2.total Of 5 From August 3rd till now october 22 nd I dont see anything yet, I also read people had 7-8 vials, where I thought i should have 4 as I am aproaching my 40. i dont have results? 5 vials to small? It's been well over 3 months since I got 2 vials of sculptra at once. I am 50 years old and very athletic, with thin angular face. I have hollows under my cheekbones that I wanted to address. I see very little, if no, improvement and am wondering if sculptra is just bad for me or if I need more. I am also considering Ultherapy but have heard some horror stories.
