At my consultation my dermatologist wanted to use sculptra to restore volume to my face. I wanted more immediate results, so I chose radiesse instead. While I see a difference in my face from the radiesse, I think I would like to try sculptra to see if I can get more volume than I have from the radiesse. Being that I just recieved the radiesse treatments a month ago, would it be too soon to start the sculptra treatments?
I'm 42 years old and had 2 vials of sculptra injected in my cheeks, hollow, temples and lower face in January. I went back to my doctor 6 weeks later and he injected another 2 vials, for a total of 4 vials. It is now exactly 4 weeks after my last treatment and one side of my face is noticeably fuller than the other. My question is, is it possible that the less full side will fill out at a different time and catch up to the fuller side? My doctor is a board certified dermatologist.
3 yrs ago I had 2 vials, my volume improved a bit, but I couldn't tell if it was from Sculptura... at that time I was doing a LOT of things to revive my weight & my skin. (I got a small imperceptible lump in my cheek from it tho) 4 wks ago I got 1 vial in my cheeks, temples, and along my jawline (to make my mini-jowls less noticeable). I know it takes "6 weeks", but shouldn't I see something by now? My temples look like skin on bone. Should I even bother with a 2nd vial, or am I immune?
I am a 27 year old female with malar festoons. I was advised that filler may not be the best solution to treat them. They are not bad but they bother me a great deal. I had one half syringe of sculptra put in a month or so ago and did not see any improvement. I am supposed to go back for another round and was told it may take a couple injections but I am not sure if this is the right treatment or if it will work for festoons? What is the best non surgical solution for festoons?
Ive had 4 vials of Sculptra over a 4 week period. This is week 5 from the first session. My surgeon said the second session would jump start the first. My husband and my Dr both see some improvement in the hollowing of my cheeks. My Dr wants me to see me in a month to see my progress. Personally I dont see much if any difference. I think I need 2 more vials at next appointment in 3 weeks. Any advice?
Hi I had sculptra done 4 weeks ago.i am not sure how much was injected.i am 37 years old and recently lost weight after having a baby.however I seem to lose volume in my cheeks quite a bit.i used to have quite full high cheek bones.could I see a result after one session of sculptra.i am terrified to look 'done'.i just want to look the way I did pre baby.if I leave it too long between the first and second sculptra injection will it affect the results
I had 2 vials of Sculptura injected 5 weeks ago. I have developed a lump between the corner of my mouth and jawline (giving me a 'jowl' on that side) and 4 little lumps on the corner of my mouth and cheek. Does this mean I'll be prone to more lumps if I get more Sculptra? Is it likely that I'll develop lumps later? I'm also concerned that my face might not return to normal, and I'll end up permanently lopsided as time progresses.
Hi I had my first sculptra injection into cheeks 4 weeks ago and we be due to go back in 4 weeks time.if I have ipl on my face inbetween will it affect the sculptra?the office I go to also offers threeforme which is ipl followed by the ebrium laser.will this affect sculptra outcome? Many thanks
Are these sculptra bump or did I just develop a bad case of hormonal acne? I received Scuptra 2/13/17 by board certified doc, I followed the massaging techniques 5/5 and now I have lumps that appear during the day and dissipate while I sleep only to reoccur as my day progresses. What can be done to minimize further outbreak, also correct the current appearance? Do they self resolved or do I need to seek professional assistance?
