I'm getting nervous. I received Sculptra injections 15 days ago. By the next morning, my under eyes were very puffy and swollen, almost like an edema. The Dr did not inject under my eye, so im not sure why I'm swelling there. About 5 days in, I also started bruising. Both the swelling and bruises are both still there, and I still look like I may have edema under one eye. Is this normal after 15 days?
I was wondering if it is bad to massage sculptra if there are bruises in the injection areas and pain? What kind of pressure should I give? moderate? Light? It is in my NS folds, is there a technique to massage there? I've been massaging several times a day but not long intervals as it hurts.I tend to just press the ice pack there and move that around to massage it, is that sufficient? Will bruises get bigger massaging too much? Or fade quicker?
I had sculptra done at my temples three weeks ago, two days later I developed a deep purple bruise under my right eye. It is still there. I have done arnica montana gel and moist heat. What else can I do. It is very dark and doesn't appear to have changed hardly at all.
I had Sculptra injected 36 hours ago by an experienced doctor. Right after procedure, left cheek was much more swollen than the right. After 24 hours, left cheek was also more sore but no bruising. Both sides were regularly iced and massaged. Now, the left cheek remains swollen and there's no definition between cheekbone and cheek and right cheek looks good. Will the uneven swelling subside and both cheeks become symmetrical again? What happens if there was too much injection in left cheek.
