I had a closed revision (I had a open primary one) rhinoplasty and I asked for a de projection and lift my hanging columella. Now I regret it so much because its too lifted that I dont even have a tip. My question is, if this is a closed technique, how did he pull the columella up and is there a way to bring it down exactly as it was?
Im 23. I wanted a nose job to thin out my nose mostly from the profile, my bump was minimal and I just wanted that down a little. I told him I wanted my tip the same and he agreed it was already in good position but he has to raise it initially because itll drop. I took my cast off 3 days ago and havent eaten and have been crying since. My nose looks scooped, piggish, unnatural. I miss my old nose considerably and regret this 100%. I fear I will never forgive myself. I look like a cartoon
I have posted before as I am very uneasy with my results. I am 2 months post op and cannot wrap my head around the drastic changes . I was very clear with my surgeon that I wanted minimal changes and he didn't keep it minimal. I need to know what are my options to regain my dorsal hump close to how it was and my tip similar to before. I regret this change and would prefer to look like my old self. Friends and family have said I changed dramatically and it's not for the better.
Have been extremely swollen and bruised, way more than I have seen others on this site before. My cheeks, lips, and whole face is puffy and swollen. For this reason I was expecting to look swollen and avatar-like when my doc removed my cast, but not this bad!!! I am panicking because I can't tell if my nose is going to be this wide or if it's just swelling. I had a bump removed and osteotomies performed as well as a pretty major septoplasty.
hello i had my rhinoplasty exactly 1 year ago , shortly after that I started suffering from Tinnitus which I did not have before during rhinoplasty the whole concha bowl was removed from my left ear which I now regret , i should not have allowed this to happen, I would have rather lived with a crooked and bent nose than with a mal functioning, soft ear for the rest of my life, why do surgeons still remove cartilage from the HEALTHY ear during rhinoplasty if this is such a dangerous practice?
I regret my surgery and it seems that as time elapses and swelling dissipitates, the problems keep getting worse. I now notice nostril asymmetry- can this be fixed? One side of my nose feels more dented in. The chin implant looks horrible and my nose looks wide and ugly. Do you think I could get something similar to my old nose back? I am worried & depressed by this. First 2 pic are before and 3rd pic is now. I will schedule consults with revision surgeons in the coming weeks. Thank you
