I want to get both rhinoplasty and a lip lift procedure. Through research, I have found that it would be more beneficial to do one at a time, despite the temptation to combine surgeries. Most say rhinoplasty first(due to the philtrum elongating) however, the nose is my primary concern. A lip lift could ruin a perfect nose job. I would rather gain some philtrum. Could rhinoplasty correct a potentially distorted nose due to lip lift? Thinking lip lift firstthen rhinoplasty.
4 weeks since my open rhinoplasty and the scar is very visible from every angles. had it in Slovakia and it is hard to go for follow up. worry the surgeon is not competent as we had a 2 mins consultation (first time) before operation. Nothing change (wanted smaller size, width (alar), tips down, etc) like a pig (nose tips got shorter after surgery). nose was smaller and pointer before. Am I eligible to ask for revision surgery How long should I wait before complaint. What can be done to improve?
I want both lip lift and rhinoplasty. Im finding lip lifts often pull the nostrils down creating a pig nose look. Could a rhinoplasty correct it? I want to get a rhinoplasty either way, so I was thinking of doing lip lift first, then after seeing how it affects my nose after say a year of fully healing, then I could asses how to go about my nose. I know you can do both simultaneously, otherwise the rhinoplasty is usually encouraged first, but due to the pig nose, I prefer this route.
Thank you in advance for your expert opinion. 22 year old caucasian female, got rhinoplasty 1 year ago, because I had broken my nose by accident. After having said to my surgeon that all I wanted was for him to remove the small bump from the injury, I now have the following: -Shortened nose length -Alar retraction on both the front and lateral views I wanted to ask 1) What is your opinion as an expert plastic surgeon? Do you think that indeed, the nose looks too piggy? Do you think this is
Hi there, Ive been wanting to reshape my nose for as long as I can remember. I hate it. Unfortunately I got the worst parts from my parents noses. I teased in elementary school for having a pig nose. It is wide, upturned and with very prominent nostrils from the front. The tip I feel is also not proportional to my bridge. Do I have any hope of fixing any of these issues?
When I was still a toddler I have a history of falling down the stair and I nearly died. Is this one of the main reasons why my nose is like this. I really want to know because my nose is so different unlike my family, I was asking why do I feel so different.
3weeks ago I had rhinoplasty I was very clear with my doctor about what I wanted and what I didn't want. Yet my nose is too lifted and I hate the way it looks I keep reading how it's too early to really know how it will look but judging from all the pictures and articles I have read my nose is unique and piggy like what can I do to fix this problem. I can't get over the tip of my nose and how my pores are very noticeable compared to my old nose. Any advice will be greatly appreciated
Hi there, I completed my rhinoplasty four days ago (13th May) and this was an open surgery. I previously had a droopy nasal tip and now I look very piggish with the tip being upright. I did have a full rhinoplasty completed, to make my nose slender and apparently I had a small hump at the top of my nose. I know I am still in the swelling stages but the question I have is, will the nasal tip drop? I hate the fact that I now look like Mr Piggy. Pre and post photos are attached. Thanks
Is it possible/ how hard is it to make my nose look more like the pictures? My main problem is with the tip, which looks piggy and bulbous. I want natural looking nose, - not over done looking or a nose that doesnt fit to my face.
