The skin on the nose bridge doesn't follow the shape of the bone. I don't know wether it is because there is an excess of skin or because the skin is too thick. It's been like this since I was a teenager and I have never had anything done before. Is there any procedure that would help? Thanks in advance.
Hello. Thank you for taking your time to answer. In an ideal world I would hope to achieve a 5mm deprojection. Is it possible? And if yes qould I have any risks in the long run because of the excess skin? Thank you.
...and costs? Hi, Im a 29F, and Ive just started researching a rhinoplasty. I feel like my nose is way too big for my face, but recently Ive also noticed a little bit of excess skin by my chin. Any suggestions for what type of rhinoplasty to get (open/closed), what to do about the excess skin near my chin, and costs? Thank you so much!
What happens to the excess skin? Does it just retract? If the goal is to make a man's nose smaller, can you describe in basic terms how that is accomplished? I was wondering where the excess skin goes. Do you actually remove the skin or does the skin shrink? If you think of a tent that is stretched out and you shorten the poles down, the tent will become deflated. How is that different for the structures inside the nose and the skin?
My epicanthal fold is a little particular because it results from excess skin on top of my nose - can I get rid of the excess skin on my nose? It's not in between my brows but on top of my nose... how can I get rid of it?
I'm 18. My smile and cheek bones are more defined on my left side. On the right side it seems I either have excess fat or skin, making me look chubby when I smile on that side. I was hoping I could fix that naturally, maybe through exercises?, but I know I'd need surgery for the nose. When I was younger my nose was awesome. I want surgery not to change my appearance, but to change it back to how I feel I'm supposed to be. I just want to feel as beautiful as I feel I was meant to be. Thank you :)
I only want to remove a hump on my nose, leaving the nose tip the same. I was told that once you get a hump removal, the whole nose will have to be changed because the excess skin will have to be cut off in order for it to not hang lose on the tip. Is this true or can the hump be removed without having to touch the tip? also, what would be the costs of the hump removal? and is it full anesthesia or can it also be local?
I had a rhinoplasty 1 year and 3 months ago, I have thick skin and according to my surgeon my hump was reduced, my tip narrowed. Now that my nose has healed the skin on my nose doesnt sit on the underlying framework, I can literally tug on the nasal skin on my tip area and when i press it down it looks so much better as it wraps around the framework. Is this swelling? do I need a revision? Also I experience swelling fluctuation does this mean my nose hasnt healed even though its past a year?
I have started noticing how my nose looks crooked because it appears there is excess skin or cartilage on one side of my nostril. I also have an indentation between my nostrils. In pictures one nostril looks covered up. Would the removal procedure be considered a nose job or just shaving off the excess? Also, do I have a bulbous nose?
