In January 2019 I had a rhinoplasty and septoplasty combined. After my initial rhinoplasty, I had a closed revision to attempt to straighten the nose (noticed no change) and refine the tip (worked). In November of last year I woke up one day and my nose looked severely broken, the nose seemed to slide strongly to the right. I am two years post-revision and I am trying to understand what happened. Nose feels a little sore sometimes, like after the surgery.
I had rhinoplasty done about 16 years ago - initially I was happy it's my results but over the years I feel like my nose appears to have shifted and I really am not liking how it looks. I'm trying to get an idea of what I need to have to get this corrected Thanks!
Hello! I had a septo rhinoplasty in December of 2014. A few years ago, I noticed my nose beginning to shift. It is now crooked and the left side looks swollen. The puffiness is very obvious and it is the main thing I would like to address. Could this be done without surgery?
I had a rhinoplasty several years ago and was left with a hanging columella. I was unhappy being able to see so much nostril from the side so I got a revision surgery. Since getting the revision, my septum has slowly shifted more and more towards where it was before the surgery and additionally my septum is very crooked now I cant easily breath out of my left nostril anymore. I regret ever getting rhinoplasty and just wish I had my original nose back. Is there anything I can do??
I had surgery 2 years ago. Before my nose was leaning to the left side, after rhinoplasty it was straight, but after 2 years it shifted back to left side, is this because of cartilage memory? Would a 2nd rhinoplasty help or would it shift back to the left side again after a few years?
I had a rhinoplasty 3 years ago with bone breaking and bone graft 1 month after: the graft shifted and became totally crooked, underwent revision surgery that following week 3 months later: it started to shift again. and now after 2 years: it is extremely crooked and my nose looks flat and is no longer prominent ***I like everything else about my nose aesthetically The problem is the graft shifting Will getting a cartilage graft solve this problem? I dont want to keep revising my nose with surgery ***
My nose didn't look so bad after my cast came off. But now the left side of my nose looks horrible. I will attack a before picture. This is my 2nd surgery and I'm so upset. I just want a normal nose!! I am almost a month post op. I know I have swelling but my nostril issue won't resolve over this. My doctor put a graft in on that side. Is it possible it shifted? What could be done to fix this? I have already got into debt over this. I just want to feel pretty.
I had rhinoplasty 2 years ago. I was told that my dorsal graft shifted and my radix shifted and rotated and that's why my nose appears crooked How difficult will my revision be? Can it be done in a closed approach? Should I leave my nose alone or is it feasible?.
I had a revision rhinoplasty 5 months ago and my surgeon put a silicone implant in to raise my bridge. Ever since, it has been loose on my nose (I can move it side to side, and not just a little) and it has started to shift to the left and raise on the right. My nose is also discolored (small, red blood vessels) and it actually feels tight on my nose even though I can move the implant around. What's going on here and what are my options? Do I have it removed and replaced with something else?
I had closed rhinoplasty 4mths ago to correct droopy but perfectly straight nose. Surgeon placed strut graft and graft on bridge to fill indentation after tip correction. Now I see small bump on the bridge of nose, about 7-10 mm above the place where graft was supposed to be.When I move skin bump stays in place. Surgeon told me that it is periosteal overgrowth. Is it possible for periosteum to react so strongly and only in one place when no bones were shaved? Can it be misplaced graft? How to fix it?
