I had rhinoplasty back in 2014 for the first time.I had a 'hump' on my nose. The doctor didn't correct it entirely so I had to get a revison. This time the dr placed cartilage in the tip for projection, but this ruined my nose. The carilage is visible, the tip is droopy,I have a dent in my nose now and even the profile is bad.I want to know if my nose can be fixed,if the cartilage can be taken out and if the bridge can be straigt again without it ruining my nose even further than it is
I underwent septorhinoplasty surgery in 2019 and although my breathing improved, my tip was left with a dent in it and was very uneven. I had a tip revision last year with a different surgeon to try to correct this, but since then my nose has started to project downward on my face and feels very heavy/bulbous. The first three pictures are from before any nose surgeries and the last three were taken today. I'm not sure what to do, but any advice/help would be so appreciated! Thank you!
I have been really happy with my nose following rhinoplasty April 2021, it had appeared straight and looked good in photos from all angles, however, within recent months an indentation has began to show which causes shadowing and makes my nose appear crocked especially in flash photos or in dark lighting. I have an review ap booked with my surgeon however I am wondering what could have caused this, what can be done and if this will get worse. I had a steroid inj on the opposite side 9 months ago
Please help me in removing dent from the center of my nose. Currently I have an laser therapy going. But I wanted to know if it helps in removing the dents. Also can u suggest me an non surgical procedure for removing the dents. Any suggestions for dent cream so that I can rectify it asap.
I have had two rhinoplasty surgeries by the same surgeon, I love the shape of my nose but I have developed this dent in my dorsum. I am about 11 months out from my revision rhinoplasty surgery, and this just started showing about 1 month ago. It feels like a bone separation when I touch it. Could this be my skin shrink wrapping unevenly? I'm willing to travel anywhere to a surgeon that can fix this without filler or undergoing another full revision :D
I know its still a bit early but I just dont think this will change. I got a septorhinoplasty back in April and it looks like there is a dent in my nose. I went to go see my surgeon for a follow up band he said it happened because the cartilage in my nose did not heal properly and turned into mush. I really want to believe him and go back in a year for the revision but at the same time I am a bit nervous and am thinking maybe I should look for another surgeon. What are you alls thoughts?
I had my rhinoplasty 1.5 years ago. My surgeon encouraged me to get steroid injections starting at 2 months post-op. I probably had about 4-5 sessions during the first year. Have since noticed a dent in my nose, which my MD wanted to use filler to correct. Seems like a temporary solution. I have heard steroid can cause denting, but didnt know back then. Would you suggest filler? Im upset because my nose looks worse now that it is fully healed
Hi, I had a septoplasty plus reduction of nasal turbinates 6 month ago. Im female and having thin skin, i had a nasal hump that was removed and a devieated septum. As im healing I notice that there is a dent in one side of my nose it is very visible and looks like ive been punched I disscused it with my surgeon he said ya I can see that but we can fix it with fillers. As long as iknow fillers are not permanent fix. He also said lets hope it fixes it self. But it is getting wors and more visibl.
