Hi there, My last post was about my worries regarding having a polybeak deformity. Ive attached further pictures, with different angles and with me smiling. My surgeon is not concerned, but for me it does not look right. Im 5 months post op and I know that with my thick skin its stilll pretty early in the recovery process but Im concerned.
I'm 23 years old, Female, I had my rhinoplasty 5 months ago, I hate my front view, my doctor shaved down the hump and narrowed the bridge, I feel like my eyes became uglier and my face is so flat especially the area between my eyes, is it because the bridge became too low? Or because it was narrowed? Should I have a revision rhinoplasty and make my bridge higher? Please help I'm devastated
It's month 5 since my rhinoplasty. The left side is bulky and it doesn't feel like swelling it's cartilage I can feel it. Both sides are so different. Please tell me if this can be fixed. When I touch my columella the left side (good side)feels like it has some cartilage holding the nostril in shape. When I touch the right side it feels empty like there's no support (bad side) What can a revision do to fix this? Please help From the front my nostrils look flared out
Hello, my rhinoplasty was on the 30th of September I'm almost 5 months post op and I'm in need of a second opinion, I had a very large nose it was crooked and the tip was huge and the bridge was wide I had a hump also , I know there is alot of swelling ( I have thick skin too) and that it would get better but I'm upset because I don't think my surgeon shaved down the sides of my bridge they look wide and I also have uneven nostrils I don't know if it's bcus of the swelling or if it's permanent
I had a revision rhino plastic in early September of 2021. It is still crooked and there is a bump on the top of the right side that makes my tip look uneven. Do I need another surgery ? What can I do ? I had a rib graft inserted inside my nose.
Hi, I had revision rhinoplasty 5 months ago and the scar on one side is indented. My first rhinoplasty the closure was seamless/imperceptible so I assume this needs to be fixed and will not resolve on its own? My previous surgeon is nice but has become quite popular and may have rushed through this surgery. Do any of you doctors have any recommendations of someone who can fix this? I am willing to travel. Thanks.
Is it normal for my tip to look this way after a tip rhinoplasty revision I am very concerned because I feel as the more the swelling goes down the more what appears to be cartilage or whatever it is, is more visible!! I am 5 months post op . Will this in fact round out ? Or what will I need to correct this ? Another surgery?? Fillers??? If so Any great revision surgeons in Chicago??
I have a hole in the bone/nasal bridge after surgery 5 month ago. Its a pit where he removed a hump.I do feel the edges of each side. Its not visible,as long as there is some water in it from swelling.Doc says that there is still bone under the pit. When I take a deep breath,it tingles. Can the bone close the pit by itself? Will this pit get bigger and cause problems? Can I do anything to make the bone regrow? How can this be fixed/when is the right time to fix it?Can a bone transplant fix theissue?
I had a revision rhinoplasty with septoplasty 5 months ago. I still have right nostril retraction. My bridge is much higher and my nose tip looks so bolis much bigger than prior. Very asymmetrical. Hard to breathe now. How long should I wait before under going another revision? The first two pictures are current the last in the right is before . My paper lip is longer now as well.
I had rhinoplasty 5 months ago and I am pretty happy with the result, although there is a small bump on one side of the nose which my dr agrees is bone and is visible. He suggests rasping it down under general anesthetic in hospital. By the time i go in for surgery it will be 7 months from the initial op. Are there risks associated with revisionary surgery? e.g. breathing, further deformities etc
