I'm so upset. I am 11 months post open rhinoplasty to correct several problems (crooked septum, droopy tip, hanging columella and alar retraction). My nose is still crooked and looks like it has been smushed to one side and my nostrils are still too large, but I can live with those issues. I CANNOT live with the lumpy asymmetrical tip from what I presume is poor placement of cartilage. Can the appearance of the lumps be minimized with filler? I really don't want another surgery so soon. Help!
I have had two rhinoplasty surgeries by the same surgeon, I love the shape of my nose but I have developed this dent in my dorsum. I am about 11 months out from my revision rhinoplasty surgery, and this just started showing about 1 month ago. It feels like a bone separation when I touch it. Could this be my skin shrink wrapping unevenly? I'm willing to travel anywhere to a surgeon that can fix this without filler or undergoing another full revision :D
Wondering if I need a revision or if Im being too picky. Doctor did an open rhinoplasty on my naturally upturned nose to lengthen it with septum cartilage. Corrected hanging columella and hump. Told doc that front view was most important to me. I wanted less nostril visibility and defined/contoured tip. Is this swelling even though my skin is thin? Still seems short and bulbous from front. Profile looks good. Doc said he would narrow the bridge as revision but didnt address the bulbous tip.
I had my initial rhinoplasty in 2010. After, my nose had a lot of asymmetry and after 5 years there was a piece of cartilage poking me and I was getting random nose bleeds. I had a revision 11 months ago and stressed that I wanted to look like me. The day of surgery the doctor told me he was going to raise my bridge, I could have walked out and not got my money back, but I chose to stay. I look like a completely different person, and not in a good way, and my nostril collapses when I exercise.
I broke my already ugly nose back in 2006. Had a regular ENT do a septoplasty at that time. In 2020, I had a primary rhinoplasty done by a board-certified plastic surgeon. It turned out terrible. He said I had a complicated case because it was broken to begin with, and he offered to fix it for free. It was awful again. He did another revision - open - this past January 2022. My results are still not what I wanted and I hate it! I am so upset! What did he do wrong and how can it be fixed?
Hello, I had primary rhinoplasty 11 month ago. The nasal bone on my leftside protrudes and my right is more indented. My nose was not straight before the surgery and was told that it can be very difficult to achieve a symmetrical nose. My nose bones did not appear to be like this before though and my glasses sit more off to the left now. I have an indent on the top leftside of my nose inbetween the center of my nose and my left nasal bone. Could this be causing my nose to be more off centered?
I am so upset - when I had my rhinoplasty done it was amazing, then at around 6 months I noticed my nose started to look a little crooked and a small lump appeared above my right nostril. I am now at 11 months post off and my nose looks even more crooked, the lump is still there. And my bridge looks wider than it did before. I have contacted the sergon that did the job and he just keeps saying your face is asymmetrical well my concern is not my face, its my nose.
11 mon. ago, I had an open septorhinoplasty to correct a deviated septum allowing for better breathing. Before surgery, he suggested shaving down the dorsal hump, which I didnt think would hurt. My surgeon has left me unclear after many checkups as to why my nose changed the way it did. The side profile is fine, but from the front, my nose has lost its definition entirely, & the tip/nostril area has changed (widened). I am desperate for intel and if there is anything that can be done to fix
