No pain and looks great - my teeth are noticeably whiter

Just finished the procedure. I had zero sensitivity/pain. Teeth are noticeably whiter.

Background - 20+ year smoker and 8+ cup a coffee a day drinker.

Procedure- I was told by my dentist to use sensodyne toothpaste for 3+ weeks BEFORE the procedure. Went in and had my teeth molds done , which took about 30 minutes.

Came back 3 days later for the actual Zoom procedure which took about 2.5 hrs. First, they take pictures of your current teeth and shade. Then the hygienists, place a moisturizer on your lips and place a type of dam in your mouth. It basically covers your gums and makes it so your teeth are exposed. Once that is in place. The hygienists use gauze to ensure your gums are fully covered. They then use a small brush to add a type of rubber/plastic protection along all your exposed gums.

Once that is complete, they put the whitener on and attach a light to the mouth piece. The whitener stays on for about 15 minutes. The machine beeps once complete. The hygienists use the handheld vacuum and air dryer to clean your teeth. They then add more whitener and use the light for another treatment. This occurs 4 times.

The prep ( gums etc) is what takes the most time.

Once complete, they remove all the gum protection, rinse and dry your teeth and then match your shade, so you can see how much it was lightened.

They then placed some "relief" gel ( included in the take home kit) into the new molds and told me to wear them home.

I had zero sensitivity or pain. My teeth felt exactly how they always did.

I am extremely pleased with my results.
