I found out about Dr Yousefi through a Groupon ad...
I found out about Dr Yousefi through a Groupon ad (which I didn't get) but set an initial consult with him. I had seen two other Drs for consults, and didn't leave their appts feeling confident. I liked Dr Yousefi's initial conversation, you can tell he stays busy, as I only met with him for about 15 min, but the consult is free so I didn't expect having a lengthy appt time. The lady who handled the finance was ok. This was my first time talking about cosmetic fees, and she didn't really take the time to explain. It was more so her just pointing out individual costs. So a couple days after when I was unsure about something on my invoice, she wasn't too happy with having to explain again (that follow up convo was about 2 min) and I could tell she was annoyed. Anywho, it was fine, I still felt comfortable with the Dr, so I paid in full about 3 weeks before my procedure date.
I had my procedure yesterday morning. The nurse who helped me was great. She was attentive and had a great bedside manner. I had laser lipo on my upper arms. I expected more pain, but is was fine. I don't really remember the whole thing, as I was given meds to help me relax. But I do remember seeing the fat that was expelled and feeling slight moments of pain. Overall it went great and I recommend his services. He was pleasant and explained all the steps leading up to the actual procedure. All day yesterday I was draining liquid, which is expected the first 24-48 hours. Make sure you have plenty of towels and old sheets to place under during the drive home and while you heal the first days. I didn't purchase an extra garment before the procedure, which I regret, as they give you one. I ordered one today online, but don't get it for another week. Today has been fine, I'm still not lifting anything, and making my two boys get their own things. I have been able to lay around all day yesterday and today, as I'm worried about leaking all over. I don't want to drive for another couple days, bc I want to be careful with my recovery.
My arms look great, they have never been so thin! I hope I don't swell up, so keeping overall activity low and eating low sodium foods.
