Where to start...

WHAT I HAD DONE: Osteotomy, bridgeplasty, tipplasty, septoplasty, alarplasty.

I am 20 years of age, suffer from social anxiety, and have been wanting a rhinoplasty for some time, some time indeed. My nose has been the center of my attention for the past 3-4 years. I could think of little to nothing else. I was obsessed, but with good reason. I just couldn't bear it any longer, hence I chose to finally do something about it... I went for it.

I ventured to Thailand, Bangkok. Pre-op I had been sending heaps and heaps of messages to the clinic, via their facebook-profile. They answered my EVERY question, literally... and I have been messaging them ever since December of 2013. That is much of the reason as to why I felt so comfortable with them, plus I had been there once before, last year. Also had I read many a positive review on the net regarding the Prof. Kunachak and their miscellaneous services.

I booked my flight, packed my bags, and arrived in Bangkok on the 25th. of August. I checked in at Aphrodite in, which by the way is located right next to the clinic, with a conjoining door to the clinic even (which made things much easier and more comfortable post-op), on the second floor! It comes in handy, believe you me.

Prof. Somyos Kunachak and his staff are good, honest and amicable people. No doubt. I felt most taken care of.

The day of surgery finally arrived. About 45 minutes before the surgery was about to commence, I got a knock of the door from one of the staff of Yoskarn Clinic, and was given a green surgical gown. I put it on, waited about an hour more, and got another knock on the door. I was escorted to the clinic, where the professor took photos of my nose. Front view, front view chin up, left angle, right angle, etc.
After that was all said and done, we discussed my wishes one last time, and the surgery began.

I remember it well, especially waking up after surgery, in one of the rooms next to the one I had my surgery in. I felt no pain actually. Only in my back, because of the position I had been laying in. I had more back-pain than actual nose pain, haha. The nurse slept in another bed on the other side of my own bed. When I woke up, I was given a glass of water, and requested for her to bring me a mirror.
I couldn't believe my own eyes! "Wow, it looks incredible...", I said, and went back to sleep again.

I spent the night in the clinic, and early next morning I was brought back to my room. Luckily for me, I met not a single person on my way back to my hotel room, because I used the conjoining door.
The surgery, all in all, took about 5-7 hours, I think. At this moment of time, I had no pain, at all. The pain only became noticeable the following few days. I still have some stiffness and mild pain in my bridge, but that is to be expected... after all, they did break and re-shape the bone. Nothing I cannot bear. The following days after my surgery, I was visited almost daily by the staff, and Prof. Kunachak took time to come also, just to check up on me. If I wished it, I could have contacted them, and they would have come at their earliest convenience, but I just wanted to mostly be left alone for a few days after my surgery.

That's all folks, no more and no less. I am still healing, still waiting for the swelling so subside entirely.

PS: I also had vocal fold augmentation, dermabrasion and enameloplasty done in the clinic. I am over the moon about the results. The scars on my cheeks are as good as gone, and my teeth look better than ever. My voice is still healing, but already I must admit it feels stronger, more stable.

It has not even been two weeks since I had my rhinoplasty, and the result is nothing short of excellent.

Their service as well as bedside-manner, is truly bar-none.
I think all of the staff speak english, but I am not entirely sure.
The staff members who do speak english (Prof. Kunachak speaks english, of course), speak it very, very well, so no misunderstandings should arise.

I sound overly positive, do I not? Have I nothing negative to say about my experience, you may ponder.
No, can't say I do, really can't. I am overall very pleased, already things are starting to look up for me.
I feel SO happy about my "new nose". I can finally rest, I am home-free now. The past few years have clouded my eyes and made me extremely weary, the depression swallowed me. Now I feel so different, and differnet is good. So much more full of life, more ambitious, more happy.

I will be posting pictures, but not just yet. My nose is still healing.
I will include pre-op and post-op. So you get to see the difference for yourself.

Please feel free to contact me, I will be more than willing to help you out.
