Ladies - has anyone had their nipples/areola do what mine are doing? I know it has only been 1 day, but I'm a little freeked that they are 'sucked in' looking and 'wrinkly'. I still have these dam* drains in and it hurts. Last night I think I rolled on it wrong and pulled it out slightly because I can see the stitch that was suppose to be holding it in and I was leaking right out of the incision down my side (as well as still in the drain). These drains are awful. I tried massaging my breasts the way she told me to and slightly tugging on my nipple but the left one seems like it is suctioned inward by some great force. Please give me some reassurance if this is normal and will eventually fluff.
- Well here are my pics - From 10 years ago, 30 lbs lighter...tiny barely A cup to - ouch...look at those shiny bullets from right after the implant (AUG 2004), to just the other night (and 30+ lbs)...big oaf-y looking globs! Hated them....but now look at me...Ugh...will they get better...fluff out and the poor little nipples be ok???? HELP???

although I have not had my implants removed yet, from looking at this site for a couple of weeks now, your nipple seems to be "normal" for this stage. I would think and hope that every thing will heal good.

you look awesome and its been one day........your skin is going to retract and yes I've seen other women on here who have had these issues and in time they keep changing. You look like you have a lot of tissue and nice skin.......your going to have a really good result. Yes the drains suck, but they are good to get the fluid out!!! You don't want it trapped in there. Call your ps if your worried about it:) Hope this helps a bit.

it seems like i have seen this on a few ladies on this site, try searching "breast implant removal nipple" or nipple dent, nipple turn in, or something like that and I bet you will find some similar stories. They definitely say to give it 6 months to a year but that is so looong to wait! I know, I'm there too!!! I think it looks pretty good and you already have some tissue and 'fluff'-that's great!

First day Post Op

Hi All - I was in the OR yesterday at this time. So after the first night of (not sleeping...ugh not a back/side sleeper...a stomach sleeper and couldn't do that) - I'm not thrilled but I am at a point in my life at the brink of "50" next month that I have learned what matters is not my boobs (lol), they are a bit frowny and wrinkled looking this morning ... first morning after. I am hoping after the darn drains come out and the wrap is off they will "fluff" some. Hoping the nipple/areola will spring out. She told me to massage. Either way, it all a matter of time. We all need to remember when we got them in...how hard and shiny our skin was cause of these new water balloons put in there and how long it took for them to drop, soften and look (somewhat) natural. I think the 'explant' process is the same thing...I hope. I'm giving it 6 months till I think I will look closer to the way they will be. Love this forum! :0)

Glad you are doing well, can't wait to get mine out and just had them out in on 12/2/14, I know a lot money wasted but I really don't like them and they just hurt. I am hoping for a good outcome

Congratulations, great attitude to have. Time is most definitely the healer.

Congratulations! Each day gets better and better. And I like your attitude about giving everything 6 months to settle. I am doing the same thing. So much can change in 6 months. It is such a relief to have them out. :)

I am not a back sleeper either and it's killing me! No sleep at all right now because of it!
December 18, 2014
So weird sleeping on back/sides. PS said today if I can sleep on stomach with out it bothering me to go for it. She said time will tell me when it's ok...reminds me of pregnancy and when I got these in and couldn't sleep on them. How long has it been since yours came out?
December 18, 2014
I just got mine out Tuesday and they want me to sleep elevated on my back for atleast 7 days
December 18, 2014
Weird how they are all different in what they tell us. Mine came out Tuesday also. And PS said do whatever your body lets you do....
December 18, 2014
Mine said that the fluids need to flow down and if I lay flat they just pool there or something. I pretty much feel like I could lay however though. Yea they all say different stuff

Good point about how long the dropping took from original ba. We should give the explants time too.

Day of treatment

ALL WENT WELL

Went as well as could be expected. Doctor much 'warmer' today. Really like her more...guess when your in an 'operating room' and about to go through something the doctor shows a more compassionate side.

I am sore around the drain area but SO HAPPY I DID IT. I LOVE MY TINY BOOBIES. Nipple a little frownie but she told me it would fill out over time and to massage them. Pics soon. Ladies - if your 'sick' and tired of them or just sick and tired of them, do not hesitate - DO IT! :0)
