Provider Review
I wanted to wait a couple of months before writing a review of my experience so that I didn't prematurely make a judgement based on swelling (which I did not experience too much of) or any other wonky thing that didn't work itself out with time. Let me preface this by saying that I am one of the most critical, question-asking, background-checking, control freak patients that a doctor will every meet, LOL! That being said, THIS DOCTOR DELIVERED MORE THAN I COULD HAVE EVER HOPED FOR!! After my initial consultation, I went back for another one...and another...until ALL my questions were answered to my satisfaction. After all, this is your face- not a messed-up breast job that can be hidden under a sweatshirt (not that you'd want that either). Your nose is an area so visible that less than 1mm off the slightest angle of a nostril can make you look BOTCHED (as you know, he's featured on that show with Dr. Nassif)!! Dr. Yoo answered all of my incessant questions in a thoughtful, clear, direct, and HONEST manner. I emphasize the word "honest" because he did not promise to deliver the Victoria's Secret model nose I requested (of course I had "wish pictures"). Instead he discussed what could be done to improve MY nose with My unique features (think about the kind of artistry and talent this requires). By the way, he is not a cookie cutter surgeon who will install a goretex or silicone implant to your face and call it day. He specializes in a DCF rhinoplasty procedure (google it if you're not familiar with the procedure) that takes 7+ hours to perform and requires a very meticulous and detail-oriented doctor to perform it- this is the kind of surgeon you want for such an intricate surgery. Staff: WONDERFUL! Amaralis, Rose, Aubrey, Patty, Vivian, Anna, and all the surgical and front house staff- WONDERFUL! And who all continue to be wonderful every time I come in for a post-op. Dr. Yoo and his staff really made this experience special for me. Perhaps for some people that might not matter. But for someone like me, who was petrified of going under the knife- not knowing or being able to control what would happen- it made every detail of my rhinoplasty experience AMAZING, not to mention having the result of such a pretty nose. If you read this Dr. Yoo, I will never be able to thank you enough for taking care of me and giving me the most beautiful nose that you knew was possible for me. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. By the way, I have posted photos of two "before" (taken in the office right before surgery: April 27, 2017) and two "after" (taken right after a shower: July 4, 2017- Happy July 4th!) for people on this site (seeing pictures on this site really helped me). I do not know how to put "smiley faces" over my eyes and do not take great "selfies" so I apologize for the bad lighting and zombie-like photo shop job I performed to blur my eyes out.
