My drains were removed but my Doctor said for me not to drive. My next appointment is on August 25, 2015 so we'll see what happens then. I had a long day to day and it felt good going out after being in the house for 4 days. I'm already loving my results. I had pain medicine put under my skin which I think made a world of difference. The last time I took my oral pain meds was on Wednesday and I only too it one time on that day. I'm feeling great and looking good. So glad I had this website for support and questions. I still have to wear my binder daily and I can breath

I am so excited about my upcoming surgery. I am...
I am so excited about my upcoming surgery. I am waiting for my surgery date which will probably be sometime next week. I am having a full tummy tuck, panniculectomy and lip of my back and flanks. I have lost weight, exercised and this pouch is still there. The back fat by the bra area and love handles just seem like a permanent part of my body. But not anymore after my surgery. I wear my pants up to my belly bottom to try and hide this belly plus it feels as though I have more belly support when I wear my pants like this. I am so excited

Yay nynaeniece! So excited for you! My surgery isn't until August 21, but I range from super excited to super nervous. I am excited to have my surgery, but have such roller coaster of emotions. Do you have that also? I completely understand about things feeling like a permanent part of your body. I also wear pants high to cover my tummy and I can't wait until I don't have to do that anymore! Looking forward to finding out your surgery date and seeing your updates! Best Wishes!

Thank you MyBodyWash. I don't have roller coaster emotions just curious about the pain. As per my request, my Doctor is going to put medicine under my skin for pain and i still will have pain meds to take orally.

That is what I mean about roller coaster emotions. The excitement...then thinking about pain/surgery/etc then totally excited not worried again. lol I guess I have them because I am getting closer and so many other things are going on. Though I have read that it is perfectly normal to have those. I have complete confidence in my surgeon and his staff, so at least I don't have to worry about that. lol

I had lots of nausea and some vomiting in recovery. Think that I must have separated internal sutures in lower abdomen. My scar is perfect but I still have a pot belly. My original TT was 11 months ago.

Revision done 3 days ago. What a difference from the first TT. I'm up and about and in less discomfort than I have been for 11 months!

My post op is the 24th. I didn't have any drains this time but I don't think the repair was as extensive as the first TT. I'm flying back home immediately after my visit so im praying all continues to go well. Congrats on getting those drains out!
