Day #13 after first session
Hi, some more pics after my first session, I do not see much difference but I think is because of the amount of ink in my tattoo ??. In the first week I did felt pain and my arm was really swollen but now, in my second its all pretty normal.

You will probably start to see more fading and notice a difference around the 4-6 week post treatment mark. 13 days post treatment is too early to see much change. This has been my experience. The first time I ever had laser removal I noticed fading around the 4 week mark and it continued to fade for a period after that as well.
Good luck with everything :)
Thank you Susie! Yes, I think this will be a slow process because of the lines and the amount of ink
hello, same spot, same laser, same color, i think same density as well. good luck! keep your expectations low, for the first 7-8 sessions consider even the slightest fading a huge victory.
Thank you!! How many sessions do you have so far?
3 sessions with 3-4 months intervals. they don't seem to have faded at alllol except a small part that was done lighter by the tattoo artist, which is almost gone and gives me hope. that's why i told to keep your expectations low. if it's black and deep it could take up to 25-30 sessions for it to be 100% gone. 2 month intervals, it means 5 years. it's not THAT bad if you think that after 15-16 it should be significantly faded but the 12 sessions you were quoted is probably [RS bleep]. hey, let's hope i'm wrong though!
OMG! Thats not encouraging haha, and I don’t know if I want to spend so much time and money on removing a tattoo :( can you please share photos of your tattoo?? I heard that is after the 6 or 7 session that you can notice more fading
yeah sure, do you know how to send a pm though? well, the worst thing for me would be to expect unattainable results. this would signal that it doesn't work which can be depressing and make you give up. the truth is that it does work but it takes a lot of money, time and PPPAAAAAAAIIINNNNNNhaha. all the clinics purposely lie just to lure customers with the promise of 6-8 sessions etc. trust your eyes. browse around here and have your own inferences. many tattoos are dense in some parts and 'shady' in others. the shady parts can be even completely gone at 6, not the dense though. yours has some shady parts, you will see great progress there!
Hi, I just started my removal on the 14th. With the same laser! I myself started noticing some thinner lines after my first treatment.. however my tattoo has really thin lines. Good luck for your removal! I’m starting my review.
Thank you Madeline! I will follow your journey, good luck for you too :)
I did my test patch about 3 weeks ago on a very small line with a very low amount of ink, and I see very minimal results. Also my tattoo is new, maybe that's why it's harder to remove. But the technician used the PicoSure laser for my test patch, that is known not to be the best laser for black tattoos because it doesn't have the 1064 nm wavelenth. Yours is DiscoveryPico so I don't think you should have a problem, just some patience... Good luck!!
Thanks! Good luck with your process :) and please share photos!
How new is your tattoo?
My tattoo is one year old

Session #1: Discovery pico laser
Hi guys!! So I finally had my first laser session. Here are some details about it:
1. The doctor chose for my tattoo a DiscoveryPico laser.
2. He said is going to take 10 or 12 sessions to remove my tattoo completely.
3. He put me on anesthesia so the laser wasnt painful, althoug the anesthesia was.
Today is day 1 after first session and there is not much difference but is normal for a first treatment. I feel weird because my arm is swollen but there is no pain. I’ll share more pics in the upcoming days :).
