I am very happy that the healing process was without any complication. i feel light and can align my spine easily. the physical feeling is so different and i have to learn to be aware and correct myself, if I fall into old patterns of crooked posture. I am doing tai chi and yoga for that . . but i also had to be patient and take care a lot. i almost never was without sports-bra, day and night. applied the silicon strips always on the scars and cleaned them daily. they helped a lot for a good heal up, i guess. it took a long time until all the threads of the stitches came out from the depth - and so every now and then there was a little inflamed pimple until the thread came out. finally, after 7 weeks i dared to go to swim again, yuppee! and the ocean still carries me - even with my smaller balloons. now i also started to massage the breasts softly with oil or a moisturizing lotion.
only after the secure healing i started to look also at the aesthetic aspect: the breasts still seem big and a bit flat hanging, the form is not perfect (same as I am not ) and the nipples are stargazers ;-) .
but i am almost sixty and i have to say that the proportions actually fit very well with the rest of my aging body!
I am very happy I did this surgery and grateful to dr. pramote and the bangkok yanhee hospital crew.
and very much also to my husband who took so much care of me during these weeks of recovery.

Hello ! now it is my turn to share my experience...
hello ! now it is my turn to share my experience with you:
me too, I have always been big busted and found good ways to manage it through exercising and dressing carefully. my initial disconcertment and shame changed slowly in my early twenties and i became more befriended with my breasts. this happened because my boyfriends loved my female shapes and brought tender loving attention to them. so i never considered breast reduction although i had often big discomfort, because I just thought it was something you can not change and you have to accept nature. (my european band /cup size : 75 E /F )
but after 40 i had to stop most of my sporting activities (like jogging, contemporary dance, contact improvisation dance, aikido- even if i putted 2-3 strong sport-bras one above the other) because of very strong permanent back–, neck- and shoulder pains. just only to keep my back upright became so exhausting for me, i had to lay down flat on the floor several times a day to relax the spine – or, in this position- even bow my back over a soft gym ball to stretch it for some minutes. then followed years of physiotherapy and chiropractic care, craniosacral treatment followed, but even though i was always practicing gymnastics, tai chi and swimming, the back- neck- shoulder and head- pains got worse, and my posture, my spine alinement became poorer and poorer - like a crooked cucumber. i used to be 170cm high – now only 166cm . .
finally during a intensive meditation week in the beginning of december 2014 i arrived at my decision: i want to do a breast reduction surgery!
so i started my research in the internet and found this helpful forum with all your testimonials. i reduced my search only reading the experiences of patients in my age.
so my wish for the breast reduction surgery grew: to remove as much tissue as possible (of course without damaging nerves, blood vessels. .) for to have my breasts high and tight, with a minimum bounce. in the future I would love to make running, dancing and other sports part of my life again, so I wish to have an appropriate size that won't get in the way and cause discomfort all the time. yes : nicely shaped perky breasts.
as we are living in indonesia / bali, it was clear to me that i will do the surgery in bangkok. i looked for informations and found the YANHEE International hospital.
i contacted them per email and got good detailed informations - so i made up my appointment with Dr. PRAMOTE . . . .
!!! and now it’s done !!!
on 6. of february was the surgery at Yanhee hospital in bangkok. everything went fine. and then i spent 3 nights in the hospital with good competent care. my lovely husband supported me very much.
now i am back at our hotel. still resting many hours a day. my smaller breasts hidden in surgical taping. taking my antibiotics and pain killers - but i don’t have much pain. i already feel a great relief.
on friday- one week after surgery- i will go for a control visit to dr. pramote again. and i had to promise to stay here in bangkok for at least about two weeks - in case of complications. i hope the healing process goes on well. and i thank you all for sharing your experiences.

You look wonderful. They seem to be really small now. I am 55 had BR in June 2014! Love mine also but wished I was smaller even! Good luck with your recovery and keep us posted with more pictures! Your Dr. Did a great job. I like how you were taped up tight.
I am so excited for you! Looks like they are going to be perfect! I am 55. Had my surgery done in August. I haven't published my story yet but I can say I am so happy I did the surgery. I never thought of myself as a BR candidate til a girlfriend brought the idea up. Now I'm so glad. My husband always liked my breast before but he has been pleasantly surprised by how much he likes the new smaller (younger looking) breasts.
