Procedure went really well, hospital is very efficient and well organized.
I was assessed on day one and surgery performed on day two, followed by 2 nights stay in the hospital in which I was given a private room and taken care of extremely well. I would recommend Yankee hospital, in particular Dr Somsak to anyone considering breast augmentation in Thailand. I am already very pleased with the results, and my sutures are healing extremely well at day 11.
During our first consultation I wanted to go bigger - 390cc, Dr Somsak explained that with the size of my chest wall and the way my breasts were naturally quite far apart, going that big would make my nipples stick outwards and he felt it would be best to go slightly smaller to 330cc. I took his advice.
I was presently a 34A and now am a 36C, and the decision to go with a teardrop I feel will give me the natural result I wished for.
I do advise anyone going to Thailand to have this procedure done, to do their research and to make sure someone is there with you.
Good luck!!!!

I travelled from BC, Canada, with 3 weeks planned stay in Thailand. My partner came with me for the first week which I really advise to anyone travelling to another country to get surgery, not only emotionally but physically you really need someone to lift things and help you a little as you are fairly uncomfortable.

I have to tell you that anyone considering surgery in Thailand will need to also research with medical lawyers and you will find out that if theres to be issues and the matter goes to court, the patient will not recieve compensation for certain things as they would in the US /UK. The court also does not pay back for exact lawyer fees which you would have to pay lawyers , you may pay lawyers 210,000baht and the judge only award 30,000bht by the judge at most, for lawyer fees. Also, in Thailand, MDs who are not trained plastic surgeons are allowed to perform plastic surgeries,Investigate amongst medical professionals and hosptial staff or over the internet, and you will find how the medical industry is not properly regulated. Medical tourism is a big BUSINESS, it's not properly regulated so there are cowboy doctors. However, there are properly trained doctors. But no doubt ,if it goes to court then patients don't get compensated for all aspects ,as they would in the US or UK.

Hi. Your after surgery picture looks great. I know it's a personal thing, but I was wondering if you had any updated photos? I have made an appointment for a BA with Dr Somsak in December this year. Could you tell me if you had round or tear-drop implants?
Congratulations! Did you have to travel far for your surgery? And did you have someone join you to help you post op? You might enjoy commenting on this forum for members getting BAs in Thailand. Update us again soon with your healing progress!
