How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

A year on

Well
I need to add a lot. I had a few complications when I got back to New Zealand. A couple of stitches in my breast reduction dissolved a bit early and an infection got in so I was in and out of hospital until December last year when I was finally free of infection.
This according to Surgeons here is very common. So be prepared. I have a couple of meaty scars but have been happy with results. Although I wanted to be a D and am a large DD. Which is a blow. I’ll add photos to show.

Finally fully healed

Well I didn't come on for ages as I had so much trouble with my breast reduction. I ended up with an infection which opened the wounds up. This went on for nearly six months. I went into hospital twice for IV antibiotics for a week each time . I finally healed 3 weeks before Christmas. I'm happy with results but did put on about 10 kilos as I couldn't excercise and just sat around feeling down and ate to much. My breasts are still large I wanted to be a D but am a DD or E. So that pretty disappointing. I'm hoping when I loose the weight I may lose a cup size.
