I had inner eyelids since birth and realized my right eyelid gradually sagging over the last two years and my left eyelid was starting too so before it gets worse, I finally decided to go for upper eyelid surgery but push it to the year-end so I have more recovery time before going back to work.
I did a lot of research online to look for a cheaper option than Singapore yet must be professional and reliable. Eventually found Dr. Greechart at Yanhee Hospital in Bangkok as one of the top specialist in this field and after two consultations, I decided to go for it.
I also did breast augmentation with him at the same time which I will review after this. I'm actually glad I did two surgeries at the same time as the nurses continuously gave me ice packs for my eyes while resting 3 days on bed for my BA. I guess it must have helped a lot in my recovery as I was told there's no need to put any more ice packs after 3 days.
I'm now day 4 after surgery and can't wait to see how my eyes look after removing the stitches 3 days later.

so far so good

managed to fully open my eyes today and feeling less swollen. since I have been bed resting for my BA for 2 days since after discharge, I have not left my apartment except to the 7-11 just below my condo and guess this helps keep to my eyes from dust and pollution.
I'm due to remove my stitches tomorrow and will update again so wish me luck :)

day 7 to remove stitches
AmorMiLaVidaJanuary 6, 2017
finally the day to remove my stitches and follow-up check with Dr. Greechart. noticed some light bruises below my eyes only after I took this pic but it felt nothing. my eyes can fully open by now and also don't feel it swelling anymore.
doc gave me the thumbs up during review (including my breast implants hooray!!) and took some pics of my eyes and breasts. told him I was very happy with the recovery and early results, said many thanks to him and then he got his PA to take a pic of us haha probably to list me as one of his many other happy patients. after a light hug with him, I was asked to go another room for a nurse to remove the stitches.
doc said I could put back on contact lens by pulling down my lower eyelids and also makeup. hooray again as I was looking forward to my NYE party :)
for the past one week, I was amazed how little or no pain I had on my eyes and BA (will review this separately) and I didn't even take any painkillers. to be fair, I was fully bed resting at the hospital immediately after op for the first 3 days so I was taken great care by the nurses which could have been crucial for recovery. yes my eyes swelled and felt uncomfortable but pain was really none.
I can highly recommend Dr. Greechart and all the nurses at Yanhee for their professionalism, care and organizational system.
