2.5 Months Post!!

Hi Ladies,

It has been a while since I have been on here so I thought an update was due :)) It has been 2.5 months since my explant and I am feeling great. My breasts are firming up and no longer feel like jello. If possible they actually seem bigger than I was pre-BA.

I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I had my augmentation (biggest mistake ever) - but I am forever grateful to everyone on this website, it really helped me when I was at my wits end. Thank you to all the ladies whose stories I read over and over, whether you had your implants for 6 months or 16 years or longer...thank you!

One month post!

Hi girls, just wanted to post a quick update. It has been one month since my explant surgery and I am feeling better each day. I had a follow up appointment with my PS on Monday. He said all looks good and I am healing well. He said I can now do any type of exercise or activities with no restrictions, so I am excited to get back to the gym! I don't notice a lot of change in the photos, however they have firmed up a little and seem to be "knitting" themselves back together. I look pretty much like I did before my BA, although most of the breast tissue is at the bottom of my breasts now, as opposed to evenly distributed all over the breast. My PS gave me a scar gel to rub into the scars twice a day to diminish and smooth them out over time. I am thrilled with my results, so if any of you ladies out there are considering this procedure I would say it is definitely worth the investment!

Two weeks post op!!

Today is two weeks post op! I am feeling good and starting to get back into my normal routine. I went back to work on Monday and it went very well. No one noticed that I could tell, and even if they did I don't care! I am very happy. My steri strips finally washed off on their own yesterday, so this is the first day I have seen my scars. They are wrinkled, pink and a little lumpy, but I am hoping with massage and time they will smooth out. I have started doing normal light house work i.e. laundry, dishes etc. no vacuuming until next week. Best decision ever!
