Labiaplasty at Noa Clinic (Europe Surgery) by Artur Kucharski in Wroclaw, Poland
My friend and I went to Noa Clinic (Europe surgery) in Wroclaw for labiaplasty. The surgery was £800 for local anaesthetic and £1000 for general anaesthetic. We both went for general. We arrived at the clinic Monday morning at 8am where we signed a few forms and had a blood test and physiological test.
We got taken to our rooms around 10am (you have to put covers over your shoes). Our surgery wasn't until around 4pm so we were waiting a long time but there is a huge shopping mall next to the clinic (couldn't go because of their bank holiday).
Before the surgery we spoke to the anaesthetic lady who asked us which one we would rather have (local or general, she advised general) she also asked us a few questions to see if we were suitable. We then had a shower and had a cannula put in. We met our surgeon Artur Kucharski, who asked us a few questions and had a look at our down below and informed us of what he thought the best method was.
Then I got taken to the theatre, which was very clean. Before I know it I was back in the room talking gibberish. I felt a little drousy but not too bad, I was sick once but felt totally fine after.
Throughout the night we had a buzzer to press incase we needed anything. A couple of hours later I needed a wee, I rang the bell, the lady came and took me to the toilet where I bled quite a bit (they wasn't concerned) I felt a bit dizzy going back to the bed, but felt okay soon after. We were given ice packs to hold down below which were replaced throughout the night to reduce swelling.
We were offered pain relief numerous times but we both felt fine and wasn't in pain, it just felt swollen (feels like a period a bit).
In the morning the surgeon came back to see if we were okay and checked the area was okay.
We had porridge and tea and soon after that we got sent home. They gave us tablets and prescription to take to the pharmacy (there's loads) we got 3 lots of different tablets, spray, a type of wipe, ice packs, baby wipes and Sanitary towels. We recommend buying all of this (if you want to know exactly leave a comment). We got 2 lots of everything which came to 350 zloty which is around £50.
The clinic sorted the taxis out from the airport to our hotel, then hotel to clinic ect. We recommend getting an uber after a couple days as the clinic taxis take you in to the clinic and know what they're doing. But the Ubers are 10 zlotys cheaper.
We got picked up from the surgery by the clinic taxis who took us to the pharmacy, we then walked back to the hotel (round the corner). The rest of the day we stayed in bed with icepacks and took our tablets.
Walking felt like you had pooed yourself lol, wasn't ideal. Going to the toilet was surprisingly okay, no discomfort or hurting. After going for a wee we sprayed ourselves with antiseptic and dabbed lightly. We wore Sanitary towels most of the day but did air it out a lot. They did provide an after care sheet.
The following day we had to meet the surgeon one last time before flying home, he had a look to see if everything was going okay and cleaned it up. We then had a look around the mall for a couple of hours and felt a lot better. We did then go home to chill out and put ice packs down there. We are due to fly home today (Wednesday). Will post more after the flight home and getting back to normal. So far so good, ask questions if needed. (Will post photos later)
