Opus Plasma ruined my face too!

ORIGINAL POST

I Look Worse After Opus Plasma Stretched my Skin Out.

I saw some good results in the doctors office but it backfired on me.
After just one treatment I am going to need a face lift to correct the damage. Aged me at least 10 years. Don’t take the chance!!

Hi
Do you know how aggressive the provider was? I have had multiple treatments at lower setting with good results.

She must have used a high setting but I’m not sure about that. It is still deflated and I don’t know what to do. I saw a Dr about a facelift but I can’t afford it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Opus update.

You can see by my pics that Opus completely deflated my face and added years of wrinkles and saggy skin. Before pics were taken just months before my face was ruined by Opus in June 2021. I’m afraid to have a facelift because I have lost so much volume and can’t afford to lose more. Any suggestions for repair treatment would be appreciated.

Pictures 1 and 3 are before. Pics 2 and 4 are after. Not exactly what you would expect. After pics worse than before pics. And I paid $1000 for this!

Oh my gosh, I can tell you worked your whole life to take care of your skin, only to have it ripped from your grasp in one fell swoop (in the prime of your life). I have not heard of this machine before but this is the second strikingly negative review I have seen and this machine seems extremely dangerous!!! My gosh, and the fat loss happened so fast! Typically with these high energy devices it takes about 3 to 6 months for the apoptosis to settle in. I can't believe the speed at which the damage was done.

There's probably no other option than surgical repair along with fat grafting. Probably better to do it sooner than later so you can bring some replenishment through the fat cells being replanted.

I have always tried to fight back with action when I'm feeling helpless. It helps me feel back in control. I had a situation years ago where I had over micro-needled my skin to the point where it scarred and I just had to proactively start taking care of my skin to recover even though I felt terrible and didn't want anybody to look at my skin up close. The wearing of masks during the pandemic certainly has given me some cover to repair in private as well. You are still a beautiful woman, please don't lose hope. Thank you for courageously warning others, and I will follow your developments.

Thanks for your kind words. You are right that I worked my whole life to take care of my skin. Always used the best cosmetics and had dermablading every six weeks for 6 years prior to covid. Was happy with it but started going for other treatments at this place and got talked into some things I didn’t really need especially this. Watch out for doctors who pretend to be your friend as long as the money is going their way and then turn on you when something goes wrong.

Oh my! My sympathy goes out to you and I am praying that you find a solution!

Do you know what settings were used?

Have no idea.

Is it possible they had the settings too high. I have had one treatment and this didn’t happen but I am only a month out. Scared to get another one now I got mine in a surgeons office. Where did you go?

This was a dermatologist office. Her nurse injector did the Opus treatment. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional but she was also trying to correct a permanent scar from her placing filler too low under my right eye. Only made it worse. I am still sick about this and am afraid to do anything else for fear it will go wrong also. I’ve posted it on the Q&A here on RS but only one Dr has replied and he doesn’t do faces.
