Sciton Laser - Eye/Face Wrinkles and Aging - Massachusetts

It really looked worse than it felt. Eye lids were tender but the rest really was fine. It was a little tough to look at and I definitely didn't leave the house for several days. It healed up very quickly. Still have a bit of redness around the eyes it covers easily with makeup and gets better every day.

Your results are astonishing. I did the skin resurfacing as well under the eyes, but without a real result. I still have the wrinkles and the loose skin when i smile.

I would like to know how strong your laser was doing it. Do you have any measurements? Do you think, that it is worth to repeat it? My eyes were swolen nearly for three month. Furthermore there were differences in the symmetrie by comparing both eyes. My skin was very dry and had more wrinkles first as before.

How did you care your skin after the treatment though?

My surgeon advised me not to use any Cremes after the treatment. Though my skin became very thin, dry and fully wrinkled.

Karina2003 - sorry to hear you didn't get the results you wanted. I will get the exact measures from doc when I see him next - 2 weeks. He did tell me but I don't remember. I do know we went very aggressive around eyes.

My eyes are still a little swollen but it is only 3 weeks. As the swelling goes down some wrinkles are returning but I'd say it is still 75% improved and I'm happy so far (I didn't expect 100% ). I used Vaseline and aquafor for the first week until all skin peeled. Then moved to Vanicream moisturizer and still using it. My skin is not dry, actually feels good. My skin did break out for a bit but now it has leveled off . I am using Dermablend makeup to cover the redness around my eyes which can take a while to go away. I will update when I get measurements.

I am not sure... My doctor said I wouldn't need to do this twice any time soon. Did you do Sirton or different laser?

I did not. I did not have c02 laser so I don't know anything about it. I wish you luck though and hope you get the results you are after. You may want to search c02 lasers so you can see folks that have undergone the same treatment.

Thank you for your response. Are you still happy with the results? For me it took maybe 9 month, until i was happy. The happiest I am now after one year. Before I was partly unhappy. So I am a little Bit nervous before my treatment today :-I

It has only been a month and I'm not sure what the end results will be. But so far I am happy.

You should share some before and after photos on this site. I hope you are pleased with your results. I am still very happy I did the laser. My results are better than I expected so I'd say it was definitely a good choice for me.

I intend to do it as soon as I am sure, that it was worth it or not worth it. Due to the swelling I am not yet sure, though some people believe to see an improvement with regard to the quality of my skin. But I am still holding back my enthusiasme. It is my second attempt and the first one Year ago was a maybe better result or even a worse result. If you like, i would share my fotos with you at this early state. Please feel free to contact me.
