I have decided to make a separate reviews for two procedures that I got on the same day. I got Juvederm UltraPlus in my lips, and Radiesse in my nasolabial folds.

The procedure itself wasn't as bad, and I saw results instantly.

I didn't have any bruising or swelling for the first 3 days. None.

Yesterday when I was taking my make up off, I could feel a little bump on my right side in the upper portion of the filler (closer to my nose). When I touch it, I feel pressure all the way in my lips and around.

I hope this is normal reaction. Dr Bentkover said that I might feel those lumps, but as long as I don't see them, I'm fine. I don't see them for now. I hope all stays this way, and that sensation goes away.

I feel it would be entirely wrong not to give Dr Bentkover a pass for Radiesse. It hurt a lot after the procedure, and I wasn't ready for it. For now, filler seems to settle down, and my nasolabial folds look good. I would personally go with Restylane next time. I didn't do my homework on time, and I didn't know that Radiesse can't be dissolved like other fillers (in case something goes wrong). Neither Dr Bentkover informed me about it before the procedure. It was the best filler for my $$$ in his opinion. The bottom line, nasolabial folds looks good, and that is all that matters. I won't be his returning patient for other reasons, but as I wrote, it would be fair enough to write this review.

I had the same in my lips. At first I said I did not want to do my lips but PS said it would balance my face. Now that is my favorite part of the injections I had. $650 was a bargain, mine were $900 each syringe.

Thank you for writing! Did you had any bruising or swelling after Radiesse? I do feel pain now that is all over my right side of face. I'm worried... There is a harder part in my upper portion. I have no idea what is that...

I had this same procedure done back in early January and I still feel the cyst like bumps. I don't have this with Restylane and I'd rather go with the latter. Your results look great!

No way! Is it visible? So sorry... Yeah... I wish I knew a bit more about this filler. I hope all turns out good... I really hope...

They aren't visible at all but they are painful and I can feel them. I happen to have one that the nurse was able to feel and know what I was talking about when I was having Restylane administered. I too see that people have had some bad issues post-procedure with Radiesse due to the nature of it being such a different type of product. Fortunately some light massaging makes the pain go away very quickly.

Yes, I agree. So sorry to hear that. But it is good that isn't visible, and it will go away in a few months. I still hope I won't be one of the horror stories...

Almost a week. Feeling better!

As I wrote before, I didn't have any bruising or swelling after Radiesse. 3 days after the procedure, I started feeling pain on the right side of my face. It was painful all over my eyes, ears, cheek, and I had a headache. It concerned me quite a bit... Apparently, it happens with fillers, and especially with first timers. Live and learn!

I had that pain on day 3, 4, 5. I had it constantly, and especially when I smiled or touched it. I took Tylenol (2000 mg per day), and that helped a little. Today I feel better -- no significant headache, earache or pain in my cheek. I still feel the filler, but I try not to touch it unless I really need to. I think it heals... I hope everything stays this way.

Overall, Radiesse did the job for my nasolabial folds. But next time, no Radiesse for me. I wish I knew that this one can't be dissolved or manipulated like other fillers. Just in case something goes wrong...

I got it when I had my Breast revision so I was asleep and now have bumps by the outside corners of my mouth. It looks weird and the bumps are red. It has been 6 weeks. My PS told me to massage them 2 weeks ago and I have been doing that every day for 2 weeks with no change. There is no reversal so I guess I have to live with it till it dissolves. Do you know how long before it dissolves?

Soooo sorry to hear that! :( I'm seriously done with this filler. Did you feel those bumps immediately after or not? Are they visible? :( Do they hurt? I heard it can take up to a year for Radiesse to be dissolved. How much did you got?
March 18, 2015
I got Radiesse done November,2014, I was told it would last for 18 months to 2 years. In December,2014 the left side of my face was sunk in as if nothing was done, also the right side of the face where the Radiesse was done the line got deeper, so now I look like a freak. When I told the doctor about it he said I need more on the left side...as if I have money to shell out every three weeks for these procedures. I was not happy and feel they should be accountable to tell you the truth and back up their claim as to you how long something is going to last rather than scam you back to their office for more money and to repeat the procedure with in 3 weeks. Who has $1600.00 to give away when the procedure is suppose to be $800.00?

So sorry to hear that! Oh, no... Well... To be honest, I'm not happy that I got this filler. I wasn't informed, and my PS didn't inform me about possible complications due the fact that this filler can't be dissolved. Your story is different... So, what is your plan? Did you get filler 3 weeks afterwards in December?
