Dr. Deborah Ekstrom is Worcester, MA performed my lipo. I went to her looking to have just my tummy done and she suggested the love handles. And I'm glad that she did. I'm 54 years old and was just sick of looking at my flabby tummy and am too lazy to spend hours at the gym or doing sit ups. I had it done on a Friday. I took the occasional pain pill (opiods) over the weekend. I didn't want to take many though. The opiods made me very constipated. They had told me it would but it was definitely worse than I had imagined. My flax seed wasn't enough - I needed heavy duty laxatives. I rested all of Saturday and even went to a friend's house on Sunday evening. I didn't tell anyone I had the lipo and I was able to sit and socialize and no one suspected that I'd had surgery two days earlier. I even went to work on Monday! I have an office job with a sit to stand desk. I didn't do a lot of walking and managed to work all week. I was surprised by the amount of bruising and the swelling of the genital area which is just ugly to look at. I was told that this would happen but until you see it...... It was also hard to roll over in bed or to get up from a prone position. You move slowly. It's now over two months since I've had it done and I'm so glad that I did. My pudgy, flabby tummy is gone. My waist is defined, again. My clothes fit better. My muffin top is gone. Have I lost weight? A couple of pounds but that wasn't what I was looking for. After the 2+ months I still have a little 'tingling' feeling in the areas and I can tell that the lymph areas are still draining. I've had the z-wave treatment done a few times and will continue with them. I'm eating a good diet - like I normally would. It took me quite a while to finally decide to do this and I don't regret it at all.

Love her! Everything was as she had communicated to me. I look great and feel great. Had it done at a Worcester Hospital. The staff was accommodating and professional. I highly recommend the procedure and Salisbury Plastic Surgery.
