40 years old and have always been a small B. I've never had boobs and after nursing 1 child and also just getting older, I'm finally doing something about my deflated and saggy boobs. My surgery is in 5 days so I'm getting really excited /anxious and just hoping everything goes well and I'll have great results. I went on 4 consultations before choosing my Dr. and couldn't believe how different they all were. They all said that I have saggy boobs but needing a lift with the augmentation would be iffy. I really didn't want a lift because the scars would be awful and I didn't think I was that saggy. I liked the first doc until she insisted that I should do both aug & lift and wouldn't let me decide for myself. Second doc said same thing about iffy for lift and said he would do subglandular and that should give me the little lift I'd need. I knew I wanted submuscular and I just didn't get a great feeling about this doc in the first place so I was all set with him. Third doc was great! My husband & I immediately liked her and she also said I'm so iffy needing a lift that she wouldn't recommend it. She said why go through additional surgery and more scars unless absolutely necessary. And it's something I can always do later if I really need/want to. The fourth doc isn't worth mentioning since the consult was totally useless. So I went with number 3, Dr. Deborah Ekstrom. I felt the most comfortable with her and her nurse, Kristen. With both their help I decided to go with 325cc silicone gel moderate plus implants. I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs. I really want a natural look and don't want to end up being too big but Dr. Ekstrom said that I have enough curves everywhere else and that would be the perfect size implant to be proportionate with the rest of me. Now I just need to get ready for the big day. Will post pics soon as I'm done!

So it's the night before my big day and I thought I would be really nervous tonight but I'm not at all. I'm so excited that I'll finally have boobs!! Here are the dreaded before pics. Looking at my boobs in a picture is even worse than seeing them in the mirror everyday so I have no second thoughts on going through with this surgery. I'll post after pics as soon as I can!

Boobs Are Here

Surgery was yesterday and went really well. I came home and slept all day. I didn't really have lots of pain just very stiff and tight so I took the muscle relaxers. I didn't end up taking a pain pill until I woke up in the middle of the night. I expected to be in a lot of pain today but luckily it's the same as yesterday, only had to take muscle relaxers so far. I'm hoping it just gets easier everyday. Here are the first after pics! They are so swollen and high, I can't wait for them to start dropping so I can start seeing what they're really going to look like!

You look great! I had mine done six days ago and have had a bandeau on since day two (drs orders). I'll have to keep up with your progress because our dates are so close together!

Thanks! I just checked out your pics and you look awesome already!! Did it take a few days for you to drop a little or is that what you looked like right away??

They already looked a little low. Breasts usually try to climb right as the swelling starts and my dr didn't want that to happen so literally the day after surgery, I went for a checkup and he put the bandeau on and said to never take it off because he wants my implants to stay in the pockets that he made. I have an appt tomorrow and want to ask him if I can take it off during the day and put it back on at night maybe. I want fullness in the top so I don't want this thing to keep them down so low. Although I am still really happy because I'm a mom of three and probably don't need a ton of cleavage. How are you feeling?
