40 & Finally Getting Boobs!!

Time has really flown by these last 2 weeks. I did remember to take pics at 3 weeks but forgot to post so here are all my recent pics. I do still feel a little tight in between my boobs and I think there is still some swelling on my boobs closest to the center but other than that I've felt great. Just waiting for more time to pass so they will finish dropping. I definitely think they have gone down in size a little now that they've settled a bit and the swelling has gone down but that's a good thing because sometimes I felt like they ended up being a little too big, especially my left boob because that's always been my bigger one. I'm starting to feel like they are my boobs and am more comfortable with them everyday.

Dr. Ekstrom is great! I went on 4 consultations and my husband and I both liked her immediately and felt the most comfortable with her. She was the only doc that took the time to get to know me and a little bit about my lifestyle and I really believe that can only help make my experience better and give me the best results. All the docs said that my boobs were saggy and it was iffy on needing a lift, the difference is Dr. Ekstrom was the only one that didn't say I should just go ahead and do the lift anyway. Dr. Ekstrom didn't believe in having additional surgery and scarring, not to mention the cost, unless absolutely necessary and thought it best to do the augmentation and wait to see if I would still need the lift. In the end, the augmentation was all I needed and the implants gave me the little bit of lift I needed! As far as the ratings, I am always taken into my appts. on time including the surgery. The nurse, Kristen, is awesome! I call with questions and they always take my calls no problem. The reason I didn't give 5 stars for follow up & aftercare is because Dr. Ekstrom never called me right after surgery:( Fortunately, I had a very good recovery with little pain and no complications but it would have been nice to hear from her right after. Overall I am very happy that I chose Dr. Ekstrom and so far I love my results! It's only been a week since my surgery so I can't wait for the swelling and tight/hard feeling to go away and for my boobs to finally drop and settle into place.

Wow you look great! I'm only 10 days post op and I can't wait for mine to look that good. Mine still feel very tight and one is higher than the other. I love reading other people's stories it gives me hope.

Update

Not much going on. I feel like the days go by so slowly just because I want time to fly so I can see more progress! I've been able to do practically everything just being careful not to lift heavy stuff but other than that I've been walking on the treadmill everyday, laundry, driving no problem. Still waiting for boobs to get softer, not sure how long that's going to take. I hope "morning boob" ends soon and I still can't sleep on my side so that really sucks too, haven't had a great sleep yet. I'm really happy with the size! No one will be able to tell since I always wore very padded bras so I'm not worried about questions from everyone. Doing this in the middle of the winter is the best time since I'm always in sweaters and by the time summer comes my boobs should be nice and settled and will just look great in clothes but won't be screaming boob job! I love being able to wear comfy bras with no padding or push up and completely fill them out, it's so much more comfortable!! I can't wait to buy pretty lacey bras once I can start wearing underwires!

Thanks! I just checked out your profile and you are so petite! Trust your doc when they tell you what size is best for your breast width and body size you don't want to end up with "here comes [RS bleep]" for size! Lol! My doc helped me with my final decision and I'm very happy with my size. Good luck tomorrow!!

Feeling Better Everyday

Things are definitely getting better everyday! I still feel a little tight and swollen but I think the worst of the tightness is over. Unfortunately the sleeping isn't getting much better. Woke up this morning and on top of the morning boob my shoulder was killing me, I must have slept on it wrong. I think they've dropped a little bit so I'm happy about that and I can't wait for them to drop even more. Here's the latest pics. I don't really have any bruising just right in between my boobs is bruised and really tight/stretched but my incisions look fine, I only have one spot that must have bled a little right after surgery. I think I've had it pretty good so far, just hoping for a good nights sleep.
