For a while, I have been super unhappy with my large pores/orange peel-y texture on my cheeks and chin. I had the Erbium ablative done earlier this year (with ok results), but since I didn't like the 10+ days of downtime, I opted for the YAG non-ablative. This was considered a "lunchtime" peel, and my Dr told me that I could have better results pairing it with a microdermabrasion immediately following. He only did my forehead, cheeks, nose, around my mouth, and chin. He focused both the laser and microderm on my cheeks (where you see the crusting in the pics).
I'm not sure if the order of procedures was done incorrectly, though, because after the microderm my skin was very raw. Then, later that evening, my skin was blistering and bleeding. I realized I wasn't given any post procedure instructions, but I tried to remember what I did post Erbium. It was hurting to even splash water on it, and any mild lotion (even cetaphil) burned. Since it's the weekend, I have to wait until my doctor is back in office. I have been just splashing with lukewarm water and trying to moisturize with lotion (it burns slightly at first, but calms down after a while). I'm REALLY upset about this, considering I didn't want to have any downtime, but now I'm dealing with similar blistering that I had with the ablative laser! I'm mainly hoping it didn't damage my skin further, or that it will cause hyperpigmentation. My pictures show swollen lips, too, because I also had juvederm injected. I will update once I see my Dr.
