I felt that after weight loss I even looked older...
WORTH IT$22,000
I felt that after weight loss I even looked older , which made for an ambivalent outcome. So, after letting the idea of a facelift bounce around in my brain, I decided that my 65th birthday was time enough! Did all my research into physician education, experience, reviews and any legal issues. Dr. Andrew Lyos was at the top of my list. And, after meeting him, my selection was solidified. His calm demeanor and encouraging advice made me feel very comfortable! I scheduled my face/neck/brow lift/eyelid surgery immediately. I am very happy with the result!

Still have rocks in my head
well it's been 11 weeks postop. I feel great and I'm still very happy with the results of the surgery. I have been back to see Dr. Lyos several times and he is always punctual and professional and so encouraging about the results. Just wanted to report, though, that I am definitely not back to "normal" . I still have lots of numbness, particularly on the very top of my head. And in the areas where there is thawing I have teensy shooting pains and I itchiness. My scars are still pretty red which is to be expected yet hardly noticeable with make up.I still feel like I have a rock or two in my head when I lay on my side on the pillow... The incisions at my temples still somewhat tender . All in all I am healing well and no B said this would be over in a flash. They say you were only 66% there at three months and I would agree with that assessment. Wondering if I will ever not be aware of my face and head ...oh what we take for granted!

At six months plus, I still feel it: a firmness in my jaw. My doctor is famous for doing tight neck lifts. I know my neck is extra tight, I frequently I joke that I can bounce an anvil off of it. Though I know it can feel like a real annoyance, the longer you feel those muscles, the better your chances are for a long life on your surgery. You look great!!!!

Thank you so much. And yes, I too, can feel the tightness. For all of the minor annoyances, I would do it again in a heartbeat! Good luck on your continued journey

You look beautiful! Thanks you for posting before and after pics with same veiws and expression with same makeup. So often I see pics with no before pic or with bfore pic not smiling and after smiling. Its hard to see the true results that way. Again, you look amazing!

Try to talk to a Naturopath. Maybe you can take some herbs to relax and sleep like Ashwaghanda or Holy Basil. Homeopathy also has anti swelling medicine. All natural.

I am used to my face now and yet still enjoy catching my reflection in a store mirror or window! It's always such a pleasant surprise!
