Still very happy 5 years later. Have continued with Botox and twice have had some fillers but don’t feel another procedure is necessary yet. I will do other procedures as they become necessary. I am in California now, with a new, great doctor , Robert Kessler.

Does he have an office in the Woodlands? Where did you have your FL done at? Was your FL done as an out patient?

Yes. Dr Lyos has an office in the Woodlands. No, I spent the night in a surgical hospital after my surgery . It was in Northwest Houston. I was monitored throughout the night. He came in first thing in the morning to change my dressings personally. And then gave the ok for me to go home that morning

You look beautiful! Thanks for posting your 7 months photos. Did you notice any slight sagging as time went on? Are you still numb?

Yes. My mouth area became more lax once the swelling went down. I guess they use fillers for the lines around the mouth etc. but I am nervous about it. May do it to see how it turns out.

Geeze, looks like a drunk wrote this, lol! What I tried to say is:
I have a feeling that I will experience the same laxity at my mouth. I did this to avoid fillers, but I will get them if necessary. Those marionette lines are so aging! Thanks for answering, I will be following you.
PS my doc did say that that area is hard to correct with surgery.

You can get fillers but they only last around 4 months, and they can be quite pricey, $750/vial.

I have become a bit complacent about my face. So I thought I Would return to this website to look at my "before" picture. There is a huge difference but I sometimes forget. I know it sounds crazy, but I sometimes think "I don't look that much different"... Keep your before shots ladies! It'll help you as you go along.

I've had that same reaction, and I do look back to my before pic to remind me how much better I now look. I realize I'm still 66 and when I look in the mirror, that's not what I'm seeing. I have lost more weight since my lift, and sometimes I think I still see sagging, but I think it's more about the image in my head rather than the one in the mirror.
